This stuff is one of the best flocculants out there. It produces visible results immediately, and you'll start to see the initial cloudiness form visible clumps in under a minute in calm water. I use this on my pool and a hot tub, and if you do what the directions say, you'll be very pleased with the clarity of the water once you vacuum or filter out the gunk it sinks. Doesn't cause any odors, skin irritation, or ruin swimsuits as far as I've ever noticed. Be sure to check your water chemistry after use, as settling out as much as this stuff does may have a noticeable impact on pH and alkalinity, which is expected and a good thing, but just be sure to adjust appropriately according to the change.

It did what it was supposed to do! It causes dirt to sink to to bottom of pool and clears water!

After a day of use with recommended use with size of pool, I didn't see much difference and small particles were no easier to vacuum out. Over several days and more product usage, I do have a clean pool and I did think I was going to have to drain the whole pool, so this was very worth it.

I tried some other products this time, first. Water in pool was cloudy. Could not see the bottom. Water was not dark or thick, just could not see the bottom of the pool in the deep end. In desperation I tried this product. The old product I used is not on the market anymore. Followed the instructions on the label. After about 2 days, could see the bottom in the shallow end which is 4 .5 feet deep. Saw a little green algae encapsulated in the flocculation material. Kept the chlorine and ph. in the correct range. Water became clearer with out using more of the Clarifier. Had the pool water checked at the local Pool Shop and it was all within normal range. Could use more calcium as I like to keep it high, so I added 25 lbs. of calcium chloride pool grade. Pool is surrounded by oak trees, so lots of fresh oak leaves in pool daily. Today, I cleaned out a full trash can of oak leaves from the pool. Water still clear and can see the bottom. Back washed the pool; water looked a little milky at first discharge but after a minute was crystal clear. Pool filter pressure down from 17 lbs to 11 lbs. Rinse done for 17 seconds. Pressure back to normal 11 lbs with filter engaged. Summary: easy to use this product. Used little time in getting pool water right. I actually did not need to use the full quart.

I tried Everything and nothing worked. But this Worked wonders. My pool was cloudy and a dark teal color. So I shocked and added the floc and everything fell to the bottom and I used the siphon method to clean up and it did wonders.

I have a 28,000 gallon inground pool. I ordered 2 bottles of this product and put it in my pool last night following the instructions on the bottle. Within several hours all the suspended particles fell to the floor of the pool. I just need to vacuum it up. My cloudy pool is now crystal clear See photos

This product works great if you have an algae bloom you are trying to recover from. It clumps up all the microparticles so they sink and can be vacuumed straight to waste.
