Is this suitable to be located outside?

No. It’s intended to be mounted on a DIN rail within a MCB enclosure. It could be used outside within an IP66 enclosure.

Hi there I just received this item - there are 8 connection terminals but no connection details or schematic with this item

Mine also arrived without a schematic. I buzzed mine out to establish what terminals were input, output and how they were switched. Basically constructing my own schematic. I would suggest you do something similar. If you can't, then I would urge you to get someone with the technical skills and multimeter to help you. The law is that you are suitably qualified in order to work on the supply side. In this instance the law may have a point. SC the mains supply and you'll get quite a bang 😉
