Pencil Grips - Assorted Colors - 36 per Bag

I searched for three years until I found these grips on amazon. They are simply the best. They have a star to have the children put their thumb on and this is key to their sucess. They are also designed for right or left handed writers. You simply can't go wrong with these. They are easy to hold and the soft grip is almost addicting to children. They are not bulky and stay put on the pencil without sliding down. They also come in great colors! My kindergarteners LOVE them, and children that can't write, can with these because it makes it so easy. I send them home with my parents for the children to use at home and they just rave how well they work!

I love these!! They are so cool and really help with my daughter's writing!! She writes better but slower. She doesn't like that part. Lol! These definitely get the job done and the price is very good. My only (very small) complaint are the colors are mostly very dark colors. Disclaimer!! They made it clear that there is no guarentee of colors.

I like these better than any of the other grips out there. They work perfectly to get my children to hold their pencils properly and I love using them myself to prevent hand cramping. I've even been able to get them onto the fat primary pencils. Very easy for the kids to know where to put their thumb(the star) and works with right or left hand just by flipping it over.

Once upon a time they taught penmanship in school. It began with gripping the pencil correctly or else! Not anymore. I couldn't stand watching my 6 year old daughter hold a pencil the way she does, and have no chance of achieving the control necessary for good penmanship. These grips make it much easier and more natural to grip the pencil correctly. The size works for big hands and little hands equally well. The only complaint is that the fit is a little loose on your ubiquitous "Mongul" or "Faber Castell" pencils. A softer rubber with a slightly smaller bore might cover a greater range of pen/pencil bodies.

I'm so happy I found these!!! Con, I can't rotate the pencil around my pencil. This grip is one-pisition. I love it though, this is my favorite!

My teacher gave every single one of the students in my class one of these when I was in Kindergarten. It was many years later that I began looking for them in store aisles, and I never expected to come across them so trivially!! I absolutely loved this darn thing, and I could not find them. I'm absolutely thrilled that they still make them and even more thrilled that there are so many different new ones to try. I plan on ordering several types here on amazon, but I needed to write the review on the Stetro right away; I have been searching for them for what seems like eternity. Thank you sooooo much to everyone who has bought them and kept them "alive" all these years...

An absolute necessity for teaching primary children proper grip for writing! If you also teach them to print all their letters from top to bottom and from left to right, you will teach them to track for reading automatically! Been tutoring non-readers for almost 40 years and most non-readers can't track because they make their letters upside down and backwards which hinders the automaticity your student needs in tracking to hold on to meaning...
