cheap board with apparent quality flaws
I wanted to buy a skateboard at a little higher price point to get slightly better quality but amidst the coronavirus pandemic, I couldn't. I guess most kids are buying as there's no school and they have plenty of time to burn. I had to settle for this board as this is the only thing that I could get from my daughter's birthday that is below $100 and can be delivered by the date. I was skeptical but ordered it anyway, partly because there was overwhelmingly positive reviews. The initial impression after receiving the board was "cheap", after my daughter trying it for week, here are some findings so far:The POSITIVES are, the board was cheap, and it was delivered pretty fast. But there are a few quality issues affecting both the ride and the perceived longevity.BearingsRight out of the box, the wheels don't turn smoothly. When I spin the wheels with my finger, the wheels for about 1/4 to 1/2 turn before they stop... I've never seen skateboard bearings this bad.Truck Hanger FastenerUsually on a skateboard you get a kingpin and then a nut to hold a hanger to the truck base, which allows you to tighten/loosen the bushing for adjustment. but not on this board. It comes with no kingpin no nut, there is a single bolt with an inner hex head that can be turned with an Allen key (allen key not included BTW). This causes two problems: #1 is minor, your skateboard multi-tool will not help you because you need an allen key to adjust the bushing bolt; #2 longevity - I can see issues when you loosen the bushing a little too much as the entire hanger is held by this bolt - by disassembling it I already know that the bolt is only screwed into the base plate by 2-3 turns. I would not be surprised if the hanger falls off during a maneuver involving a heavy landing - with that little thread hold the hanger, it's only a matter of time when the thread inevitably strips.Board Pulling to One Side When RidingIt can either be bad trucks or bad truck mount, which I'm still trying to figure out and fix. But when riding the board severely pulls to the right... in fact it was really really hard to try to move to the left. Very frustrating to ride. I'm still trying to make adjustments to it without success so far. I may have to totally re-drill and remount the whole thing.Guess you get what you pay for... at this point it's too much trouble to return the board plus we are under stay home order by the governor and cannot do that anyway.

Dangerous Skateboard for Youth learning Skakeboarding
Over all a terrible Skateboard to buy....!!!!! Not only is the overall quality of the skateboard bad.. it’s also dangerous to be used for learning Skateboarding as the wheels don’t turn. My 9 year old had a terrible time with it. He has just used this board for couple of days and already the board has chips and scratches on it. Plus as the wheels have a different setting turning direction was not possible for him and whenever he tried ....... BAAMmm!!!! I can’t give it a one star too in terms of Money, Durability..... it’s just a waste of money!!!!

CHECK THE ONE STAR REVIEWS. Numerous accounts of the board pulling to one side because the trucks are improperly mounted. Bought two for two of our sons this Christmas and sure enough- they pull to one side. Unridable. Unfortunately you can't adjust because the screws are stripped. Wish I had looked more closely at the negative reviews. Suspect seller has been padding the reviews.

If feels great to ride
I am 6” tall, 170 lbs. I had been commuting to work on a longboard for years and I bought this board for myself to learn tricks. If feels great to ride, really smooth and easy. I commuted to work on it once since buying it (about 3 miles round trip) and I have spent several hours abusing the board as I learned to do ollies and jump off curbs. The board has shown immediate wear and tear. The layers between the composite material on the deck are starting to split in a couple places, but it is still holding up. I will probably need to upgrade after 10 more solid hours of jumping practice. For what it’s worth, I am landing pretty decent ollies on this board - which I had never been able to do on commuter boards, so this board is serving its purpose. Also, my 8 year old daughter loves this board. She controls it much better than her little penny board. I’ll probably buy another one for her for Christmas.

Bought this for my sons birthday! HE loves it! Stylish, well made for the price. We've only had it for a month now, but its held up really well. This seems very durable for the price.

Manufacturing defect right out of the box. They provided a full refund but beware.
This was a disappointment. I hate to say but I would have given it one star but they made it right and refunded the entire purchase price and didn't ask for the board back. The front tuck holes were not drilled correctly, slightly angled so the board would constantly curve hard to the right. My daughter was very upset because she was looking forward to skating with her friends. The company could not get a replacement to her so we opted for a refund. Not to allow my daughter to be heartbroken by bad quality control, I was able to "modify" the board so that it now runs true. Made my daughter super happy, and basically got a free board, but it should have been built correct out of the box. Plus I shouldn't have to drill and remount the trucks on a NEW board. Anyway, I guess if we got a good one it would have been great for a beginner. But the one that we got was unusable without fixing it.

A Terrible "Skateboard"
The board gets 1 star for arriving clean and shiny as a first board for my child, but the fun stopped there. The wheels literally won't spin if I flick them with my fingers. Yeah, you can ride it and it'll glide along for 20-30 feet before stopping, but it's not in the least bit a smooth ride. Add to this the fact that the trucks were put on crooked so only three of the wheels touch the ground at any time AND it has a wicked left hook, driving left on it's own.. Now I'm going to have to spend time changing out the bearings, drilling new holes and realigning the trucks to get this to be even rideable. Terrible quality. Just terrible.

Not bad but still...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The deck is pretty solid, the wheels are good(not the best but good) but the bearings are horrible when I roll with it I can't even do 1 m without the skateboard stopping by itself! Now I will have to by some red bearings to make it roll...

Great bang for your buck!
My son is 5 and wants to learn how to skate. I didn't want to spend big bucks on a board for a 5 year old, but I also didn't want to buy him some garbage Walmart board either. This board is much better than I expected. It's almost on par with a $200 board from a real skate shop.It rides smooth, truck turn well, feels good on the feet.Great for an adult or kid that wants to learn how to skate. You'll probably want a better board once you're good, but for beginners this is a great board at a great price.Highly recommend!

Our sons first skateboard :)
Our eight year old son wanted a skateboard for his birthday, so I did some quick research and ended up getting this Krown one. This seemed like a good compromise on getting something of adult/semi pro quality, while not paying too much for it. Overall I'm happy with the purchase, our son absolutely loves his new board. The quality control on this board is a little disappointing though, even given the relatively low price.A couple of things I'd note - out of the box, the paint was suffering from cracking. This isn't a huge deal to me, we covered it in stickers to customise the board anyway, but it shouldn't really be like that on a brand new board. It steers to one side, consistently from the day we got it, to now. I'm hoping this cures itself as he rides it more and the trucks wear in a bit. I've tried to cure it by loosening off the truck bolts a little to allow more movement, but so far nothing has helped. Right now it doesn't matter as our little skater is only going a few feet on the driveway. To a teen/adult more advanced skater, this would be a problem. Again, I hope it'll cure itself as the trucks wear in.Wheel nuts were ridiculously tight to the point where the wheels wouldn't spin freely. I spent half an hour taking the wheels off and lubing the bearings, and did the nuts up less tight so the wheels now run smoothly and properly. Again a small thing, but should I be having to do quality control and fix a brand new board?Overall I'm happy with the purchase, it's a great first board that will last hopefully, without spending a fortune. For an older kid, I wouldn't recommend this. For a younger kid, its good value but the quality control is a bit disappointing.

Look ok from far, not that much from close.
After ordering it twice, we decided to just get a refund. Each time, the board arrived with a delaminated end having small cracks and missing pieces of wood. The plastic bag that serves as the packaging does not seem to be able to protect the board during storage at Amazon. The board looks ok for the price but if you want to give it has a gift, be ready to receive a cosmetic blemish board.

Good quality for the price.
It’s a good starter board for kids. The trucks may need to be adjusted for movement. There is a reason people spend more money on a custom board but for a fully made board at this price you can’t ask for much more. Came in good condition and I would recommend it for the little skater in your life.
