Solid Wood Cambria Round End Table, 18 Inch

I bought this end table because of the size and design. When I received it, it was solid, study all wood. Easy to assemble with one screwdriver and the enclosed allen wrench. It is ready for staining or painting, or leave natural with a clear seal. I plan to use a light stain to match my bedside table. This is perfect for my small sitting area in my bedroom.

STURDY! I love this table. I bought it for use as a set piece in a play. It is so strong, I started buying tables of this brand for my office and home.

This is my 5th or 6th piece from International Concepts & I haven't been disappointed yet. They are all unfinished solid wood not pressed "engineered wood". Very sturdy & well constructed. Finish as you like.

This table was bought for my granddaughter as a night table for her room. It arrived very quickly and when I saw it I was upset that I was painting it to match her dressers the wood grain is beautiful and I hated that I was covering it up. I am thinking of redoing my living room and if I do I will definitely be reordering and staining them. The edges and all pieces are smooth and ready for finishing I love it and so does my granddaughter

It did not come with assembly instructions. The legs were fairly easy to put on. But, the round shelf that is supposed to attach to the legs at the bottom of the table doesn’t have any pre drilled holes in it. You have to get the level exactly right & make the holes yourself. The picture does not show that all the ugly hardware will show once you drill the holes & screw it on & so the shelf will be balancing on top of ugly hardware that you hopefully got even on all three legs. I will opt to leave off the shelf, so I did not get the value I should have.

This is a handsome table. I finished it with a dark walnut stain and multiple coats of gloss wipe-on polyurethane. Doing some test finishing on the underside of the table indicated that a pre-stain sealer would be useful, because without it the stain would produce some blotchiness. I used the sealer (Minwax pre-stain conditioner, allowed to dry overnight), and the final product looks good. As some other reviewers have noted, the lower shelf does not have pre-drilled holes. Having read those reviews, I was not surprised and was prepared to drill the holes myself. Still, it is rather odd that the manufacturer would not drill the holes, especially given that attaching the main, top shelf to the legs is quite easy, with all the requisite holes already having been drilled and needing only the screwing and tightening of some well-fitting hardware. The assembly instruction sheet that comes with the table says nothing about the consumer having to drill any holes and says (incorrectly) that the only tool required is a screwdriver. The legs do have tiny pre-drilled holes at the places where the brackets holding the bottom shelf need to be attached. These are useful in indicating where exactly to put those brackets, but the holes are too small to accommodate the screws provided. I had to widen them with my drill.
