Our original Splash Guard got accidentally pushed into the disposal one too many times and the rim that kept it in place was almost gone. I ordered this one to replace it because I hate using the disposal without something to keep stuff inside it, and got tired of placing an upside down plate over it. The replacement fits perfect and stays in place better than the original. The flaps are a little stiffer, so a lot of things have to be helped into the disposal. This is not a big deal and helps keep the food inside when it's running.

This splash guard fits my GE garbage disposall!! None of the others I could buy locally would fit. I installed my GE garbage disposall in 2008, so I don't have an outdated model. My owner's manual is for models GFC320, GFC520, GFC530, GFC720 and GFC1020. I have model GFC530. These have slightly smaller openings than the "standard" garbage disposers. It also came with a sink stopper, which I didn't need, but it's nice to have an extra. This really fits! Thanks.

Couldn't read the model of my disposal under the sink. I think they must put it where you can't read it on purpose. But I took a chance and ordered this anyway... It fit perfectly the old one kept falling in to the disposal. Ima also amazed how much quieter the disposal seems to be, just be cause the rubber leaves stay closed better than the old worn out one.

Tight fit for my kitchen sink. No food spray finds a way out when the garbage disposal is turned on. Was a little bit more money that I wanted to spend but seems to be a specialty item and I had a hard time finding this size.

Fit my GE Disposall GFC320F perfectly (snug enough that it doesn't easily slip either up or down). Forgot how silent the machine can be until I installed this new splash guard. Until it relaxed a bit in place it did drain the sink a bit slower than might be expected, but it was never a problem.

It was easy to put and seems to be working great so far. If you have this kind of garburator and your splash guard needs replacing, this should work.

Expensive, but after trying a number of the cheap models which were totally inflexible, I decided to give this a try. It is well worth the extra cost.
