Essentials of Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences 7th Edition

this is a great book for learning the basics of statistics. my professor recommended it and everything is very bluntly stated, with plenty of examples, charts and step by step examples. Thanks to this book, and my professor who followed it, I ended up getting a B in statistics; considering I've failed algebra for many years, this was a huge step and I'm thankful this book was as easy to follow as it was.

I rented this book for an online class. The teacher never posted video so I relied heavily on the content to learn the course. I am 37 and learned so much about myself. I ended up buying it for myself and my sister who has 3 adolescent kids. I highly recommend it for all people, not just parents. It has great insight, is easy to read, and is well written.

I had to buy this book for class. That being said the book was relatively easy to understand. I am not a "math person" and the statistics class I was taking was on-line only, so I had to understand the material. This book was great for me because it explained and gave examples of problems. The on-line assistance available was nice even though I didn't have time to really use it.

Why is the picture for this book different than the one I received in the mail? Because online it does not state that the book I ordered is the INTERNATIONAL version. Other than that, the book is in good condition. Several pages have been highlighted. No biggie. It just kinda pissed me off that it didnt even tell us that it was the international edition

Was very happy to receive this book so quickly. I had ordered it from "another site" more than a month earlier and it never arrived. I was getting anxious with the start of the semester fast approaching and not having a book.I was able to find a decent priced version right away and received it in a timely manner.Would definitely order form Amazon again!

An excellent book and has made me less nervous about taking astatistics class. I thought the writing was very clear and concise and I appreciatethe "Learning Checks" that are included after the chapter sections. These"Learning checks" tells me whether or not I grasped the concept.I highly recommend this book to any student taking a statistics forbehaviorial science class.

it's a good test book with a lot of helpful question that assist learning. I like the extra question it really help me understand the course

I did not receive the right book. Actually, right title....not the edition that was listed. Very disappointed!
