Q: will these stand up to everyday use , i am looking for one that could be carried in a purse /bag and in use a lot .also one that doesn't pick/shed

I've used mine a lot. I took it to my trip to Europe and so far it has stayed as nice as the first day I bought it. It doesn't shed.

Sorry - - there is no tag stating where it was made sewn into the shawl. I

Q: Fabric Content? That must be disclosed (by law). I am shocked @ product descriptions that withhold that required info.

I discarded the tag when I wore it, so I do not have information on that. I remember it being silk and something else. Very soft and I love mine.

Q: Does anyone know how to remove the sticky strip that holds the tag to the middle of the scarf? Thanks

I did not try to remove the Pashmina tag. All Pashmina wraps have the tag...that is what identifies them as Pashmina.
