No wifi router is necessary. Great sound

Q: Is there a headphone jack for private listening?

No, there isn't a dedicated headphone jack on this speaker bar, I did not check the subwoofer, but I doubt if it will have one. There is a jack for ADAPTiQ on side of the bar, which looks like a 3.5mm headphone jack, but I believe it does not work like one.

Q: My subwoofer speaker goes in and out. Can I buy another subwoofer only?

** connection problems - Bluetooth signal between sound bar and sub can be disrupted VERY VERY easily if located too close to your Wi-Fi router or possibly a cell phone booster connected to WiFi in your home. Move at least 8 feet away from each other or more. This usually fixes the problem. Ps. I believe The sub is only paired with the original sound bar. You can’t mix or match subwoofers. Tried swapping mine out one time and they wouldn’t work. Then realized I swapped out the subs. I have two of these systems. One in my living room and one in my bedroom. Love them. Will not be disappointed! One of the best bang for the buck! Especially now that you can get them it’s such a discounted price.

Q: How many hdmi cables do I need to buy to hook up to TV and the bar and subwoofer?

0. It does not have any HDMI connectors. You will need an Optical Cable to connect tge bar to your TV. The Subwoofer is wireless, so no cables are required apart from power cable which comes with the package.
