The item had a very strong smell. It said this was the natural honey but the smell was such that I feared it could transfer to the food item. It seemed to work well, despite an incorrect instruction to crinkle it to get it to soften at which point it began to give off "crumbs" or pills, whatever you may call it, so I threw the first one away. The second one I just cleaned off with soap and cold water, and used , and is seems to work really well, in fact, it has stored my cheese so well, the flavor is perfect and not signs of mold or hardened edges. Item seems to be working as described.

We’re trying to eliminate plastic zip bags and cling wrap and these really help! From apples, left over ingredients, or containers we lost the lids for, these beeswax wraps have us covered (pun intended). These are great for everyday use and would also make a great gift.I like the variety of sizes. I tend to only need the small or medium size but I’m sure I’ll end up using them all. It sticks to containers better than cling wrap has ever tried and is easy to mold to fit awkward items I would have thrown in a plastic bag. It’s easy to mold to fit by just warming up quickly in your hands and is easy to rinse off to clean. I thought there’d be an adjustment period to using these but nope. I love them more than I thought I would!

I loved that these didn't have the resin come off after a few uses like another brand that I tried but they tended to get mold on them and I can't clean it off.Edit to Add - Company reached out and sent me a new set. I am very happy with this company and will purchase from them in the future as they stand behind their products. I really love this product and I love not having to use plastic.

I've been wanting to try beeswax wraps for awhile and this promotion was a good opportunity. I'm very pleased with the product. I've used them to wrap a sandwich, make a pocket and hold tater tots, wrap a loaf of banana bread and cover leftovers. They wash off easily and stick to themselves well. A great way to reduce plastic use.

I feel like avocados are the ultimate test of a food-packaging's ability to keep food fresh since they start to brown within mere minutes of their delicate flesh being exposed to air. I used to use that press and seal wrap to keep half-avocados until the next day's sammich. Because it makes me cringe to use plastic for 24 hours and then throw it away like that, I decided to try these. My day 2 sammies have never been happier. I unwrap those avocados from this beeswax food storage wrap and find minimal browning and maximum tasty-goodness. If the wrap can do this for avocados, I have every confidence they will excel with all food items. No more will I be using plastic wrap. Downside: leaves a residue on your hands that’s hard to wash off due to the wax. I don’t think your suppose to use soap to wash it so thats a downside tooUpside: Sticks to itself relatively well. Used it to wrap a loaf of bread in and the bread didn’t dry out. Reduces plastic wrap usage. Easy to use.

I have to be honest, when my wife asked me to purchase these things, I wasn't sure. It seemed like a hassle and I was not sure if they would actually keep the food fresh. So, I was skeptical to say the very least. Well after using these things now for a few months, I love them. If you are wondering about these things, don't. They will keep your food fresh (in some cases, better!) and are easy to use and clean. No more (or almost no more) plastic bags for us. Thank you for this amazing product. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone that wants to use something a lot more environmentally friendly than plastic bags.

The wraps are a bit more difficult to use than I expected. It is hard to get them to mold well to containers and such. They will possibly work a bit better over time, but you definitely have to be patient and work with them a lot to make them usable. Don't expect a great seal around food and containers.
