Best bang for the buck electric lock
Excellent product that I've used on over 50 doors.

It's a good product
Great if you know how to use shims which is not included in package.

Perfect lock.. connector too big...
Dropin lock saves a lot of time!! Love the lock but the connector is way to big to fish through a 3/8 hole in the strike box on a mettal door. Especily one that is cast in concrete. They need to make the connector low profile or a connection on the lock. I always have to clip off the connector and wire it up with beanies. This of corse voids the warranty. But I do love not having to cut the lock in.

use shims
it is a very good product if you know how to use it, I've seen people giving bad reviews because they don't know how to use this product, the main issue is using shims, even though the company do not include it which i dont know why, but using shims (very thin metal strip to the inside of the lock will slightly tilt the lock and becomes smooth to open and close

Works well - with some creativity
As others pointed out, it will catch on the latch for most doors because it doesn't retract fully. *But*, while I was dreading having to tear it out and order some HES strikes instead, I swung by home depot, grabbed a $4 pack of adhesive rubber bumpers (like the rubber feet you might but on the bottom of something to keep it from sliding), put it just inside the strike to prevent the door's latch from fully extending so it slides right over the slightly extended piece of the strike when the strike is retracting. Works perfectly and doesn't interfere with the locking mechanism of the door so you can continue to use a physical key if you position it right. Yes, there are better quality no-cut strikes like HES; however, when you're doing multiple doors, that extra $25-50 adds up quick, when I can get an 8 pack of adhesive bumpers and do the same thing.

Be careful - need space
These are a little easier to install than the HES 'no cut' strike but the keeper sticks out past the strike plate. If you have less than 3/16 between the door and the frame this strike Will catch / bind the latch. Be careful that you have enough space to make this strike work otherwise get the HES 8000 and it won't bind (but it'll cost you a lil more
