Great tool
I am 65 and had no problem using these. Saved me hundreds of dollars, I didn’t have to hire someone to do what I could do with the correct tool.

Cuts well
This is a hammer style cutter rather than a bypass, if that’s important to you. A bit heavy, which affects maneuverability. Used on branches up to 2”, but probably the max. One and a half inch are no problem with handles extended.

Easy to use; maintenance can be...
Fri, 9-11-2020. Hello, I asked several questions, all my questions were answered. This item was a bit pricey, but I bought it anyway after doing my research. I'm not smart about items like this, so perhaps there might have been a cheaper one. If you don't use this item often enough, the maintenance can be overwhelming for someone like me; however, after spending that amount, I'll keep this lopper in good condition. I stand about 4' 10" and I found this lopper to be lightweight, and I finished cutting the bush down in a few minutes...not joking. Thank you.

cheap
These are not heavy duty. The handles bend especially when you extend them. I'm not a weight lifter or super strong guy, and these handles bend when you get into any decent size tree branch. My old loppers, which are on the dull side and non extendable will out match these any day.

Great value
I am a landscape professional and bought this for my wife. Great deal and works great but would not last on a work truck. It will last for years at home

Great jaw strength compromised by weak handle strength
I use this tool to cut volunteer saplings that grow like weeds on my property. This lopper works very well with the wide jaw expansion. The handles need to be extended to gain the leverage to cut the maximum diameter sapling or branch the jaws are capable of capturing. This is the problem: when extended, the handles are too weak to match what the jaws are capable of cutting. The tool bends quite easily right where the handle meet the jaws. Poor design. I had to bend the jaw head back to proper alignment a few times before I decided to collapse the handles back to their shortened position and use it that way. Only small twigs can be cut with the handles extended. I give the jaws a 5 but the handles a 3. This tool is too light duty for its intended use.
