Master English Muffin Toasting Bread, 16 oz

Something changed on this once delicious bread. It used to have a coarse, semi-porous texture, like an English muffin, but it no longer does. The label claims it "perfectly cradles pools of melted butter, jelly, or your favorite spread, just like an English muffin!" It does not.It is comparatively bland compared to the original recipe. Very disappointing.

This use to be a great toasting bread, resembling an English muffin. Now, it's nothing more than white bread. I won't be purchasing this in the future. J Meyer

This bread now tastes like white bread. It used to taste like english muffins - not anymore. It's still a decent toasting bread but the flavor is more plain now. Since they've changed the recipe I don't see a point in buying it, just buy white bread that also tastes ok untoasted.

It was everything I expected it to be. I love this bread unfortunately so far I cannot find it here in Springhill Florida.

I'm wondering if Sara Lee only sells this in the Midwest where I used to live. I cannot find it for the life of me outside the Midwest. It is great bread but I will say the quality is not as good as before Sara Lee took it over. It was a nice treat to myself to get this but it is obviously way more than it would be in a store and the shipping adds to that.

I have bought the Masters English Muffin Toasting bread for years. I loved all the nooks and crannies and the texture of the bread! Then it changed. I wondered why. Now I read that Sara Lee makes it. They sure don’t use the same recipe as Masters Baking did. The only thing that is the same is the packaging. So when I saw the same packaging, I expected the same bread. Not! I am very disappointed. We bought 4 loaves at a time and froze it because it used to fly off the shelf at the grocery store. Not the case anymore. I’m sure I’m not the only disappointed customer. Please bring back the old recipe and the same wonderful bread!😪

I've been eating this bread for as long as I can remember! And you know what's changed!! "The size". I can't even get it out of the toaster anymore!!!! I'd rather pay more for the ORIGINAL size than these little Melba toast!!! Everyone is so greedy, thinks we're IDIOTS! I'm done with it!!

Love the bread and toasted it every morning and it was my breakfast now since I've left northern Iowa I can't find it. Can't find it in Florida and now can't find it in louisiana. So now I don't eat breakfast.
