Unsuable
I picked up a set of these drills at Costco yesterday. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but I got even less.First, it is an incomplete set. Missing sizes where there are 1/64" jumps and above 3/8" the jump goes to 1/16"I pulled out a loupe today to have a look at the cutting end. The smaller drills are flat faceted with a point that may cut into plaster board or soft wood, but nothing harder. As soon as they jump to a size where they have split points like the photo, things get really ugly. The splits are cut too deep, IE over cutting the center to the point there wasn't a tip They also managed to damage the OD cutting edge in the process. Really bad quality on the sharpening. No way you could drill steel or any metal other than maybe lead. Then they would just wear and tear a hole, not cut one.All of the drills would need to be re-sharpened to maybe be of use. If they are as bad with the sizing and choice of metals to make the drills, then even re-sharpening wouldn't salvage them. Back they go

They are good for the price...in fact Great value for the price!
Like the previous reviewer, I also bought these at Costco for $30. They are decent and good drill bits for the money and great value. I primarily bought them to use with wood and plastic and light metal. Not sure how they would fare if you try to use them on 1/4" thick steel or perhaps concrete but they are great drill bits to use on wood and plastic.Yeah it is not exactly a 1/16 - 1/2" drill bit set without missing a beat but you do get 21 out of the possible 29 1/64" diameter drill bits in that range and you get multiple drill bits in several sizes that are frequently used. They are $30 ( at least at Costco) and you are getting a ton of drill bits that covers most of the 1/16"-1/2" spectrum. And don't expect them to drill the Gotthard base tunnel or the Chunnel with them. They are what they are and they are damn good for use on wood, light metal, plastic and several other applications which are not deemed 'heavy duty'So if you are buying this drill bit set, set your expectations straight. They are not going to compare to a $200 Dewalt or Milwaukee drill bit set that can handle heavy duty drilling on metal and concrete. But they are perfectly good and decent for someone looking to use them light applications and general household stuff.I do highly recommend this set for someone who has the right expectations and not expecting this to perform like a professional $200 drill bit set.

You get what you pay for
Must be some really bad steel in these. First hole into the wood went fine. The bit immediately broke off in the second hole. I wasn't putting too much pressure or bending the bit.. Tried to pull it out with some needle nose pliers and the broken part of the bit broke in half with almost no force. It's that bad. Thinking it was just a defective bit, I tried for a third hole... 2nd bit broke in the same place. You'd think I was drilling into hardened steel or something.Good thing Costco has a nice return policy. These are trash.

Worst bits ever
Worst bits ever. Only good for drilling in to balsa wood. Any thing else will cause it to brake or dull in seconds.
