Tillamook Vintage White Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, 32OZ

I have a theory: If you think you only like cheddar and fake/American cheddar ... and you eat this, and you're like WOW this is good ...Then you're wrong. About not liking other cheeses. You'll probably like loads of awesome cheeses when you try them. Mind you, American Cheese (the floppy squares) is not one of them. It may be delicious (in spite of being curiously synthetic in texture), and wonderful for certain things. But it's not a AWESOME cheese.This is a fine cheese. An awesome cheese. One of the best in the world. And it's from OREGON. Like me.Favorite way: 3/4" cubes with freshly coarse cracked pepper. Best cheese ever!

This is a beloved holiday choice - for white color, great taste. It is drier due to aging but melts nicely. The 2 pound loaf is ample for a crowd.

There is no Oregonian Cheese that I can think of "Tillamook" or other that is worth $52.00 in shipping cost for a 2 LB block. I ordered this Cheese along with some other products and failed to notice the exorbitant shipping cost during the breakout of my invoice (I am a regular Amazon Shopper). Keep in mind that the block of Cheese itself is only $15.41Tillamook Vintage Extra-Sharp Cheddar Cheese 2lb. There is absolutely no sound economic reason to purchase this Cheese from Amazon and be gouged, swindled, or extorted on the shipping cost. This Cheese is not even rare or particularly special. It's just that I prefer white Cheddar. However, after being fleeced with the shipping cost, this Cheese does not taste so good anymore and Tillamook has now left a very Baddddd taste in my mouth. If you must have white Cheddar or still dare to purchase this brand, then I implore you to checkout your local grocers; Better yet, find a comparable brand from a more compassionate shipper.

I can't believe this Tillamook Vintage White Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese is not returnable, just take a look at the picture, it is impossible to eat :-( Almost all of the food I have ordered from Amazon has been defective, I have never complained, but I just spent $34 on 2lbs of cheese that is probably poisoned... It is now obvious Amazon doesn't know how to deliver food, so I will have to find another place to buy my online food :-((((((Shame on you Amazon :-(( Very unhappy customer :-(Amazon food delivery is not trustworthy, be extremely careful....Update - Amazon did give me a Refund, so Amazon did do the right thing :-)))))Problem is the packaging, cheese in 110 degrees weather requires some sort of cooling package so it doesn't spoil... Honestly, two things...flavor and not necessarily needing refrigeration. I camped across the United States and this never disappointed. Hundreds of others did. Here's a phenomenal choice for those out there that love the flavor of amazing cheese, but can't always keep it at a refrigerator temperature.

This is a top notch extra sharp white cheddar. I’ve tried none better regardless of price. Tillamook is superb!

I rely in this. For life purposes. I probably order this once a month, and I it makes me feel more comfortable knowing it's in my fridge. It's the best cheese for me.
