The listing says this is cotton, which it isn't. The material is synthetic and not biodegradable. You can tell by using a lighter to burn the end. Cotton and other natural fibres burn, viscose lights up like a firework and polyester melts. This melted.If you don't care that it's not cotton, it's a nice looking easy cord and very durable and waterproof, but personally there is enough plastic out there for me to be adding to it. For synthetic, it is really overpriced.
