Perfect all around lube
If you’re looking for a good synthetic gun oil that is safe for all finishes look no further. This is the perfect all-around gun lubrication, from oiling your slide to wiping down your gun. I’m very happy with this product.

The best combination lube and anti rust formula you will find...period
Break Free LP is by far and away the best lubricant and rust protection combination that you are going to find in a liquid squeeze bottle. In the past, when I used to collect firearms, I swore by it and trusted it exclusively on AR-15 rifles. It is NOT meant to be used as a CLP (a cleaner as well), for that see Break Free CLP. I have never experienced a rust issue with this stuff, and anything I choose to lubricate stays that way. While I no longer collect firearms, I know this is the best of the best when it comes to lubes so take it from a guy who has used this stuff for decades. It works. For those who need to know:Break Free CLP is a Cleaner/Lubricant/Preservative. I don't recommend firearms enthusiasts use this as their sole cleaner. I strongly recommend that you use MPro-7 for the "C" part. Break Free CLP would serve OK (as in Meh..) in a pinch/emergency for the cleaning aspect.Break Free LP is a Lubricant/Preservative. I strongly recommend this product for firearms enthusiasts and others who need lubrication and rust prevention in one that have already cleaned their firearm (or whatever) with a dedicated cleaner like MPro-7, Hoppes, and the like.Break Free CO is a Preservative. This is the go-to product for those not needing cleaning or lubrication, but a long term rust preventative measure. This stuff is suitable for 5+ years storage even in humid areas. This stuff is also suitable for valuable antiques made out of metal designed for any purpose if you don't like corrosion. I use it on naked carbon steel swords.

Smooth as butter
I keep a large spray bottle of CLP and a small 4 oz. bottle of LP on hand for cleaning my tools and firearms. The CLP is an all inclusive cleaner and lubricator, but the LP is great for dedicated lubrication (it does not clean, so keep that in mind). I like to use it in place of grease sometimes, like in ratchet heads. Read this from a review somewhere and tried it out. LP is thicker but still flows like a fluid. Keeps everything "well oiled" and corrosion free.**Update - 1/5/15**I took a reprieve from Break Free CLP and LP to try out Ballistol based on the recommendations of Hickok45 and my own research into the topic. I like Ballistol in that it seems to clean, lubricate, and protect well enough, and does so while being non-toxic. It's a very old formulation created for the German army in WWI and it can be used in a variety of applications, not just on metal. I oiled up a few pairs of leather shoes with it. Well, after using it for a bit, I do like Ballistol but a) it smells bad and my girlfriend can't stand the odor, and b) from what I've been reading and just from the basic things I know about chemistry, there are superior options out there. I like using "the best of the best". I'm not so sure Break Free's products are the absolute best either but they seem to go a step further than Ballistol, so I've switched back. I'll be using both until I finish up this huge bottle of Ballistol.

The slickest stuff I have ever used on my guns
It works well for oiling my Glocks and P80s. Thicker than Break Free CLP and works good enough between sessions at the range but must be reapplied afterwards. It evaporates somewhat from barrel heat and is not a grease. It's an everyday LP....not as thick as 40 weight oil, more like synthetic 5W-30. It also doesnt cling to the metal like Gun Butter but is definitely slicker being a synthetic oil. I think it has PTFE in it as well which requires you shake the bottle before use. The cap on the top is somewhat leaky. I suggest transferring it to another plastic bottle. Those small hobby plastic bottle with a needle work well.

Very Good Gun Oil
This provides better lubrication and tends to last longer than the CLP, but is a little pricey. I definitely recommend a light coat of this after using Breakfree CLP.

Great Lube for firearms, garage doors, hinges of all sorts, paper shredders and so on!
What a bargain! I thought I was buying ONE bottle instead I bought a case of 6! Excellent lube for not just your firearms (respectfully, you want to read your manufacturer directions carefully as certain weapons require NO LUBE on certain parts; slides are a given-other areas, not so much-read the recommendations that came w/your weapon) but your garage door rails/wheels; door hinges; paper shredders!! Just feed sheet after sheet as you squirt the length of the opening w/a LIGHT coat of lube as those shredder teeth dry out quickly. Old bolts you want to preserve and not break/shear off-let it set for 24 hours giving another hit of oil around 12 hours then ease the torque onto the rusty nut/bolt/screw and you might just save it-if that is the goal.
