Nails sticking out. Not original fruit boxes. Have been badly made. Got very dirty hands from handling boxes. Weak generally and would not hold anything substantial. Also not good for indoor use at all due to the black charcoal like powder all over them that comes off on anything they tough.

These are VERY rustic, require gloves to handle them as SPLINTERS!!! Not what I was expecting. Also very heavy.

The boxes are ok but not as sturdy as the 'good old English ' apple boxes I am used to seeing . But these were a good cheaper option and still worked for my use.

Love them. I used them for my wedding. Brilliant
