Bought to cover my dining room chairs, thick but not as thick as traditional velvet because of its crushed nature so ideal and won't have a problem with pile direction or wiping any spills. So glad I found this as nearly ordered cheap thin stretch velvet by mistake. The 'Olive' is more gold than Olive though, exactly the colour in the picture. I have brocade Olive curtains with gold embroidery and it matches the gold more than the Olive although has Olive tones so goes well but suggest a sample if you want a true Olive or you might be disappointed. It should last well, and its crushed look is more timeless so will still be good when the latest fashion for velvet has passed.Would probably make a a nice table cloth too.

Lovely material! I wasn't expecting too much for the price but it's fabulous! wonderfully crushed to create shadows and shine which, in turn, gives an amazing depth resulting in a very pleasing, decadent, look. I have just recovered my dining room chairs and found it a pleasure to work with. Not too thick that you fight with it to get great corners but so crushed it looks professionally done! What a result!! So pleased I bought this! I wouldn't hesitate to buy more if needed.

This was a great contrast with the black fabric. A few odd cushions on the back of sofa, the sheen on the fabric lifted the whole look. Fabulous! Would recommend this to anyone. I have also used this fabric to cover a headboard and put crystal studs in.

This crushed gold fabric is so much better than I had hoped for! It was a really good price and looks expensive, it's not stretchy so perfect for cushions.
