A great buy for anyone trying to avoid the high salt content of regular chili
I love chili - in principle, Chili can be a healthy, good food item, however, virtually all canned chili preparations come with an astonishingly high salt content: Most Chili cans on the market have about 1000 mg of Sodium per serving, or essentially the entire recommended daily salt intake per two servings. For anyone trying to avoid excess salt, it is not possible to consume these regular chili preparations, no matter how "healthy" they claim to be.I was therefore excited to find this "no-salt added" chili. I tastes great and has only 70 mg of Sodium per serving. Now, that's really healthy. Of course, for someone just starting with a low-salt diet, the salt-free chili will taste bland. However, I noticed that after several weeks on a low salt diet, my taste perception changed. I now enjoy the "true" taste of food, rather than the artificially oversalted taste provided by most commercially prepared foods.I find that this Chili has a very pleasant blend of natural taste enhanced with a bit of spiciness. It also has the consistency of a thick, home-made chili. I can enthusiastically recommend this brand.

Great Soup!
This is a fantastic product at an unbeatable price. I think it's my favorite of all of them. It's impressive how the calories are so low and the sodium is insanely low. I do take my "dash" measuring spoon and add that much salt so it's palatable. But if you are strictly restricted and don't want to make your own, this is the way to go.

Very bland. For the price won't buy again
I'm not on a low sodium diet, but learning to eat better so limiting my sodium intake. I was actually eying this product for awhile before ordering it because I personally love potatoes. No salt? Great. All organic? Wonderful! $2 a can? Kinda pricy. But wanted a healthy soup to add to my brown rice. After putting it in the microwave for 3 minutes, which is what I always do with soups, it came out looking like mush and tasted like it also. I have 11 more cans to go through though so bought some hot sauce, going to try chili powder and pepper. As for the looks, I don't mind so much if it fills me up and healthy for me.The lack of flavor and having to find things to add to it makes it not worth the cost for me. The killer is, out of the 12 pack, a single can wasn't dented. The packaging was fine so I doubt they were damaged when shipped. I also ordered the chicken noodle soup from the same brand, but I haven't tried that yet. Same problem with the denting.Would I recommend? Nope. I'll never order again unless the price drops to $1-$1.50 a can. Even then, anticipate being creative to make it work for you. I have 11 more cans to go through. Personally I'll just stick with steamed veggies on my rice instead of this product.

Surprisingly Good
Quite tasty and smooth for a store-bought, let alone canned product. Definitely tastes better (fuller, richer) than the boxed brands. We are mostly vegetarian so don't accumulate enough chicken bones to make homemade stock with any regularity (the best broth is homemade!). Critical to my heart health is No Added Sodium (cheap junk table salt = Sodium). The healthy and equally tasty alternative to low- or no-sodium intake is Pink Himalayan Salt which contains all the major minerals (electrolytes) plus all minor (trace) minerals---not just sodium alone, out of balance with nature. So, when homemade from scratch isn't an option, it works out perfectly for me to purchase No Added Salt products then add my own complete mineral salt. Note: because this has no added sodium, it can be reduced without intense, unpleasant over-saltiness. I'd only want for this, as with all food, to be Organic. First dozen cans I just used up, buying again now.

to date this is the worst chili that have ever had yet can not hate it (that's a bad word)
Gets 2 stars because of good handling, there were no terribly dented cans.Although the flavor was YUCK & was in a rush & did not feel like adding spices, sauces, etc. to make it taste better.Recommend:Worthington chili as it has a very good flavor. The Worthington brand is also Kosher Certified & Vegetarian. Also Worthington has 20 oz trial cans (you may buy a cpl cans to try in stead of buying a whole case) .label:says health valley, yet it does not carry any type of Kosher Certification the healthiest way to eat is to eat Kosher. Will continue to try other brands of chili......except not this brand of organic up-chuck.

To much sugar
I love that the salt is really low and it had a decent flavor, but its just to sweet for me. I won't be buying again.

Best Canned Chicken Broth
I purchase a case of this chicken broth from Amazon.com using the subscriber feature. I like this broth because it really tastes like chicken. The broth is clear, not cloudy and I use it not only as a base for soup but also to flavor stir fry vegetables and to make rice. I also serve the broth as a hot beverage with meals as it is so tasty and satisfying during the cold winter months. The broth is very mild so that it lends itself to additional flavoring using herbs, teriyaki and/or tomato sauce. Very pleased that Amazon.com has it available at a competitive price since I can't find it locally. Amazon.com has done an excellent job in stocking products not easily found. Also, the shipping/packaging has improved so damage has not been occurring.

Absolutely love this broth
Not available?? Not fair! I use this chicken broth for rice, soups, anything that liquid in cooking is needed. Absolutely love this broth. Add a bit of crushed thyme, turmeric and parsley, cook it down a bit and you have a good winter time cup of broth (much better than the cubes or crystals.) Add carrots, celery, onion and shredded chicken to the mix for a more hearty soup. Use this a a base for pea soup or mushroom soup. Makes a good gravy (reduce it to intensify the flavor.) So many ways this broth works. Please get this back Amazon! Winter is coming and we are running out.
