. Most importantly, it did not crack the first time someone sat on it. That is what happened to the replacement seat we bought at a local hardware store and why we bought this one. I like the bolt and nut set that came with this one too. The locally purchased one we bought came with nuts that had no "wing" sticking out. To tighten that one down took moving the wrench 6 times to turn the nut one revolution. This one, we just got the nuts started and tightened the seat down with a screwdriver. Much better.

Why pay more at your local hardware store for something that breaks after 6 months when you can get an absolutely great looking, sturdy, and comfortable throne seat at a really affordable price delivered straight to your door? I would definitely recommend this toilet seat if you are looking for a sleek black look! I love the way it changed up my restroom!!

This was a huge improvement over a far more expensive wooden seat on which the paint peeled - icky & very hard to keep clean! This plastic seat is sturdy, installed very easily, is staying secure (unlike the pricey one), is easy to clean -- I love it!The reason for 4 stars is that the seat edge, center front, was "milled" or poured carelessly, leaving a small but unsightly, rough & ragged spot. Not a huge issue for me as it has caused no problems but was inconsiderate so certainly dampened my good will.

It's a really nice toilet seat nothing to brag about it's very lightweight it's plastic I like the color it match perfectly with my orange and black bathroom I was a little disappointed because it came with two scratches on each side of the seat but nothing very noticeable but I know that it's there

I needed a black round toilet seat because the cover on my toilet cracked in half.This one installed easily but when I put the cover down to sit on it while drying off after my shower it suddenly flexs or bows down int the middle. So not what I expected. Im heavy but not that heavy. Good Lord. This cover is really uncomfortable to sit on too when going to the bathroom. Its very thin a flat no curvature at all. I loathe this toilet seat cover.

This is good value. Was concerned about the split at the front of the seat, but appears to be solid.

These must be made out of the cheapest and weakest plastic you can get. I ordered 2 of them, 1 arrived broken. I thought ok must be a fluke, but I'm pretty sure the broken one I received had been returned. I got the replacement, installed it and literally 1 week later it is also broken. The plastic at the hinges is so thin and week it just snapped right off. This was in our second bathroom that barely gets used, so definitely just junk.

What I don't like is when you sit on the top cover to put your socks on or something the seat top buckles but it pops back up because it's plastic. It kind of scares you when it happens.

It’s easy to install, fits perfectly on my toilet. The reason I removed 1 star is because I couldn’t use the bolts being provided in the package. The little wing on the bolt prevents its being screwed due to my toilet shape. So I used the bolts from my old toilet seat. Or I guess I can cut the wing, it will work too. Other than that, I really like it.

Nice thick construction. You can sit on the lid to dry after bath without the lid from inverting. Extremely good construction. Worth the cost.

fits and looks great. i really like how the back is not round. good price. will buy again if need one in the future
