My favorite mil boots
I've been buying these exact pair for over 10yrs. They're that good. They fit great, break in fast, last a long time, light weight, easy and fast to get into and out of, not too hot in the summer, the toe is strong... and I wear them hard as a flight line mechanic. The only gripe I have is that the velcro doesn't last as long as other brands.

Not for me
First off I have owned other boots made by Belleville. My very first impression I got from these boots where cheaply made with cheap materials when I opened the box and grabbed them.Pros-i got the wide amd I had no issues with the toe area or the fit of the shoe at all. The tread was surprisingly good for the work I do. They are lightweight but not as lightweight as I thought they would be. I have owned other non light weight boots amd they weight the same as these.Con-super uncomfortable for me. I have never worn a Belleville that I thought was comfortable. I worn these boots for a few hours and the back of my ankle was starting to get rub raw, that was with double layer socks on. Zipping amd unzipping I could tell that they would not last on one boot due to it hitting the cheap leather on the inside of the boot when being unzipped. I feel that they are way over priced for how cheap they felt in my hand.If you buy these boots mew insoles arr going to be a must have. I did not wear them long enough to give a full review of the quality or how long these boots would last due to I returned cause they hurt my feet way to bad.

Good sturdy lightweight boots
I don't know why the other reviews said these were uncomfortable or made their feet hurt. They were wonderful for me. I am used to wearing tactical boots at work, I do a lot of walking and moving around. I was expecting them to take a few days to break in but after walking around for like 30 minutes at work, they fit like I had been wearing them for months. Very comfortable, they are also extremely light for composite toe boots. The composite toe does not bend into the top of the foot like some do. I wear these boots for usually around 14 hours a day and I haven't had an issue with them. I purchased multiple pairs of boots from a different brand and none of them fit right, the sizes were very inaccurate and often only went as low at 7.5 wide. It was great that theses boots have a very wide range of sizes and I was able to buy the correct size on my first order. Fairly true to size, maybe size down half a size if you want a very snug fit. I have recommended them to my coworkers because of the ease of wear and the value for the price. I would buy another pair when these wear out.

Not the most comfortable
Boots needed a break in of about 2 weeks and even then, they're not as comfortable as you'd expect boots at this price point. Zipper gets snagged, laces are hard to hide and the toe width feels disproportionate to the rest of the boot. Would not recommend if you're going to be on your feet more than a few hours a day.

Great boots so far, could use a better insole.
So far so good! I've had them for about 3 months now and they're still holding up great. I wear them daily for work. My only complaint would be the Insoles, they could be a little more supportive. Alot of people complained about them rubbing real bad when they first got them, but I've never had a good pair of boots that didn't have a breakin period. They were very tight on the ankles and heels at first, but I just wore them for about 2 hours a day and then switched back to my old ones when they would start to rub too bad. By the end of the second week I had no more issues. They still fit like regular boots unlike the Reebok side zips which are too puffy and look like moon boots. My reeboks fell apart in 3 weeks, these have shown no real signs of wear.

Fit well before zip failed
I enjoyed these boots for the first 8-9 months that I owned these boots. However around the 10 month mark the velcro stitching at the top failed, then at 12 month mark the zipper failed completely. Just trashed them and went back to standard lace up boots.

Composite toe was crooked
Been wearing these for a little over 6 months, got a 13 wide. Didn't notice at first cause I thought I needed to break in the boot, but the right one broke in fine the left one the composite toe was crooked I believe, it was wedged in between my pinky toe and the other one. I had some long shifts that verified they just weren't good toes blistering

Okay fit with some pressure points.
This is a review from about 2 weeks of working in these. There's pain in my ankles where the zipper creates like a pressure point. The boot fits well. At least it seemed that way when I put it on sitting down. But when I start walking my feet slide and my toes smash against the composite toe. The boots are as tight as I can get them. However, that could be my socks. Definitely recommend thin socks.Honestly I would just recommend a normal or winter boot. This is my second pair of "hot weather" boots. You get the trade off of comfort for breathability with these types of boots.
