Clear and simple
Otto Von Bismark was known for his his clear and simple statement. I think that this book can be very helpful to start someone's introduction with the history of Germany of the 19th century. The book provides you with some tiny detail and anecdotes that make history interesting and "human like".

Horse Bleep !
A horrible book. Incredibly biased against its' subject. Reads as if it were written about 1915 by one of the Allied propaganda ministries. Should be called "Idiot History" instead of "Wicked History". An utterly worthless source of information about Bismarck.

Excellent introduction to Bismarck and his role in history
This is one in a series of books about various men and women in history who have become infamous for their roles in history. Otto von Bismarck is known as the 'Iron Chancellor" and played an important role in German history in the decades before World War I. The book provides an excellent and readable account of Bismarck's life and deeds, and is well illustrated throughout with photos and maps. I recommend it for not only high school children but also for anyone who is interested in history.
