This item was spectacular, rich in color beautifully designed perfect size. For ME, in accordance with my parish and Diocese, (each has their own written guidelines) the Pyx ⭕ That I need has to be Precious Metal. This quality and beautiful piece has a plastic lining- therefore suitable as a pillbox. Check with your own parish and diocese before you decide.

I purchased it for bringing Holy Eucharist for the sick at hospital. There was a plastic lining inside, but it can be easily removed. So I removed it and now it can hold 10-11 Hosts pretty well.
