Less about technique and more about what it’s like being a female golfer
I had so many ah ha moments reading this book. Patricia perfectly explains what it’s like to play with men, and this book has upped my confidence tenfold. It’s definitely an older book, some things could be taken the wrong way in the new PC world, but I loved it.

A "must have" for female golfers!
Since I'm a beginning golfer, this little book was like a breath of fresh air to encourage me. Helped me understand terminology, but more importantly helped me understand it's OK to have fun -it's not always about being competitive. It helped me to know that it's about not giving up in the beginning but perservering. It's also about not being afraid to be your own feminine self out there. I think female golfers will love it, no matter how expert they are. It would make a great gift for a friend or relative who golfs. Very fun!

Great Book to Read and Re-read
I really enjoyed reading this book and it validated how I feel about playing golf with men and in general. I re-read the book aloud to my husband while in the car and it helped me to explain golf from my perspective.

Want to love this game you play?
Great book for getting the scoop on golf - stuff the guys aren't sharing. This is an easy read, and is very informative. This has helped me with my game, and I have passed it on to others.

Fun to read!
This book is really fun to read! The book doesn't focus too much on the technical aspects of a perfect swing (although there are several tips). Instead, the author writes about confidence, relationships, and having fun.The market is saturated with books that focus on the "perfect swing". It's great to read a book that focuses on actually enjoying the game.

Answers the questions your bf won't know
It's kind of like riding around in a cart with a woman who's been playing a while. You get to ask all of the questions that your bf wouldn't know the answers to or would think are silly. It's a fun and quick read.

leave the tartan at home
if you're one of those golfers who's more interested in looking cute on the course, with little interest in perfecting your game, then this is the book for you. I understand that a lot of this was meant to be tongue in cheek, and believe me I've had my share of those days when I want to look stylish, but I just couldn't take it seriously. If you've ever been in the position of being the only "girl" in a foursome of the good-old- boys club, this really isn't going to do you any good.If you're interested in taking golf seriously, you should check out 'Even Par' by leslie andrews.

Easy breezy read short on substance
This is an easy breezy read that flows like a blog post. I was looking for more substance - delightful but not overall very helpful.
