Freddie the Frog and the Flying Jazz Kitten: 5th Adventure: Scat Cat Island

My kids at school loved this book. It is a great addition to the Freddie Series, and I appreciate that they have branched out to include more music genre based books now that we have learned /most/ of the basics.My one regret is that this is the second book in which Eli isn't "in the picture." For a best friend, Freddie spends quite a lot of time away from him!

I have purchased the entire series of Freddie the Frog and his adventures by Sharon Burch. The Flying Jazz Kitten is a wonderful musical adventure that allows the children to learn about scat singing and it is written in rhyme so it is like a rap as well. The illustrations are clever and engaging for the eye and the tunes are very stimulating for the ear! My kids loved this book and all the activities involved.

My students love love love these books, they are a great way to reinforce the musical concepts that I bring to them every year. The CD allows me to interact with my students, pause, rewind, etc. The sound effects really take the children to the story. Thanks!!!!

A little disappointed at the quality of this book. It split from the binding within a week of purchasing it. Would not recommend for pre kindergarten or kindergarten students.

I am a music teacher and my students have loved this book. The cd is great and has even given me a chance for the students to do some scat themselves.

I love this series, but the kindle version doesn't have the music and narrator. What a waste, going to check with Apple iBooks.
