Electrolux 241941003 Frigidare Starter Relay

Our fridge and freezer just stopped getting cold. Quickly warmed up to room temperature without warning.Couldn’t figure out what was wrong until I did some research online and this was a common issue so I figured it was a cheap and easy fix if it was the issue and decided to order.It was super simple and quick to change and the fridge and freezer almost immediately started to cool down once plugged back it.Saved us a ton of money.

Perfect OEM for my Frigidaire Model FRS6HR35KSO. The fridge was making two loud clicking sound about 5 seconds apart as if it want to start something but failing. The two clicks would return every 15 minutes or so. After researching the Internet, the problem pointed to the Starter Relay, common problem. Signs were lower cooler temp in the freezer and my ice cream would be super soft. Soft ice cream was the breaking point to get it fixed, DIY. Took 15 minutes of work to replace this module. Now, my fridge works perfectly, no more clicking sound. Ice cream is perfect again. Note: Most appliance repair person would charge $45 to $50 to diagnose and want to replace the compressor kit, which include the Starter Relay ($250) and charge 2.5 hour labor, no thank you.

I did some research on the internet to figure out why my frig/freezer was not getting cold and it turns out that this was the part that I needed. I replaced it and it works perfectly, and yes I am a woman and I did it myself.

Saturday afternoon my wife came outside and said ''the house is on fire!".Turned out that it was not the house, just the start relay on the refrigerator compressor.In the old days I would have had to wait till Monday, go to a refrigeration wholesaler, ask the man behind the counter to thumb through his giant catalogs, guess at which part of might be, and hope that he had it stock...But this is 2020!!!I fired up the Amazon website, did a very quick search to find the correct start kit, used the website tools to confirm I chose the correct one, and relaxed.The relay and capacitor are OEM parts, perfect fit and function.I guess the only way it could have been easier was if the mailman installed them on my fridge!

I bought this starter and the capacitor for my fridge. It worked fine for about 6 months and then went bad. I had an tech come out to see what was going on and was told the part was bad. Definitely not worth the money. If you do make sure you get an extended warranty.

My freezer wasn’t staying cold, then slowly the refrigerator wasn’t staying cold since it does get its cold air from the freezer. The fans were running , but the compressor was clicking like it was coming on, then it would click again like it was shutting off. After looking on u-tube, learned how to check the compressor and eliminated other causes I was drawn to this part. Easy to change it just plugs onto the side of the compressor. Just finding out the cause was the hard part. I’m happy that I don’t need to buy a new refrigerator. I ordered the part on Saturday afternoon, received the part Tuesday after Monday being a holiday.

Not actually the same as the one I replaced. The Bayonet wire connectors on my original were the standard large size, this item had the small (about half as wide ) connectors. I replaced the connectors on the wires to fit. It operates as normal. Would be nice if the smaller connectors came with the start relay.

It arrived on time. The quality is good so far. I used this part to repair my refrigerator and the refrigerator works very well now.

The product has been shipped in two days, so efficient, and it works great after replacing it. So glad to have my food saved and my fridge saved.
