Lipper International1147 Acacia w Solid Door Bread Box, Multi Color

I was looking for a wooden box that was easy to open and close to store all of the stuff for my 2 dogs (poop bags, nail trimmer, leashes, etc. Lots of stuff.) Now all of that stuff is easily stowed away in here and looks a lot better than being in a plastic basket from the dollar store. I drilled a hole in the back so I could charge nail trimmer, etc. while inside.The back is kind of flimsy -- but there's no reason to even look at it again, so I don't care. I used a 1 ¼" drill bit. After drilling, it looks almost like the back is made from layers of cardboard ?!?? or a really light-weight particle board. But, fear not: the front and the sides are made of nice wood. Really glad I got it. So easy to open and close even though I am not using it to store bread.

I use this breadboard on my kitchen counter to store medications. The wood is beautiful and the size is perfect.

Beautiful ! I was really worried because it is so expensive! But I had one almost exactly like it for 30 years and it just broke due to my carelessness.... I didn't want the accordion type, seems to flimsy and I wanted room to put my napkin holder and sugar bowl and creamer on top. Fits perfect under my standard kitchen cabinet.Smooth wood, no odor.. comes put togetherHope it lasts as long as the old one!

I was looking for a box that could hold glass jars on top. This is perfect.

I absolutely love this bread box! It’s perfect on my counters and the wood goes well with my cupboards :) The other ones i looked at where too light, this one is just perfect!
