Firstly, this is a BIG watch for an analog automatic watch. Needless to say it is also heavy given its all metal with an automatic movement. The watch has respectable quality and does not cut much corners for what it offers.It has a reliable Seiko NH-35 Japan Movement with an exhibition caseback. This movement is an iteration of the famous 4R36 movement used by Seiko in their own mid-range automatic watches. This movement gives this watch the ability to hack and hand wind and that's neat. There's a date window with cyclops to magnify the date.The bezel is nice and big which makes it visible. It has 120 clicks and is smooth to operate. Although it misses the lume pip on the 12'O clock position. The dial itself is not as big as the watch case as most of the real estate is taken by the thick bezel around it. Invicta uses the same dial with different color combinations on its various other Grand Diver and Pro Diver models. The hours, minutes and seconds hands too are identical as other Grand Diver and Pro Diver models. The bracelet feels good quality and has a nice heft to it. It has a milled clasp and solid end links. The watch although top heavy is well balanced by the chunky bracelet.The downside is the lume as it fades really fast and does not look bright at all. The hour and minutes hands could've been a size bigger. The seconds hand has a lume pip at the edge and the signature Invicta wing logo at the counter balance adds a nice touch. The crown is screwed down for water resistance while doing water sports activities. Although it says 300 meters water resistance, honestly we cannot trust it as it has no ISO certification to be used as Diver's watch.The overall design is heavily inspired/copied from Rolex although it does have some of its own originality. The Invicta and Grand Diver branding on the case sides, inside the bracelet, etc. feels like overdone and a little silly.Anyone with a wrist size smaller than 7.5 inches needs to consider that the watch is HUGE and may look very bulky and odd on smaller wrists.
