These are fine outlets at a good price. That being said I do have a small issue with these heating slightly when under a 24 amp load for several hours. Mind you it is not excessive, I am just a bit concerned that this could lead to shortened life of the plug and receptacle over time as heat and connections is never a good thing. I have checked that it is in fact the receptacle that is the offender by trying the load on a different outlet.

Price was substantially less than what it could be purchased for locally. Was packaged well and arrived in good shape.Receptacle that was shipped unfortunately does not match the photo in the listing with regard to country of manufacture. The 'Made in USA' clearly visible in the photo is replaced with 'Made in China' on the actual shipped part. Disappointing.

I have installed a large variety of electrical receptacals over the years. This seems to be one of the better built that I have ever installed and I really like how secure and safe and relatively easy the connections are.

Quality outlet, now I have my table saw back in operation.

Very small package that works well. The locking mechanism is a little sloppy when removing it but it stays put nicely. Fit okay in a 1 gang surface mount deep box.

This is a great plug. I used this to terminate a single 240V outlet in my garage. I use this receptacle to plug my EVSE cable to charge my plug-in hybrid car, Chevrolet Volt. Works great, highly recommended.

Works great. However, I purchased a 220v outlet cover from a local hardware store for 220v recepticals that appeared that it would be the correct size but it was not. Make sure you bring a tape measure into the hardware store with you when you pick up a cover.

Perfect solution for I-Miev Electric Car charger. Wall socket mountable. for the "upgraded" 220 volt I-miev charger units.
