Collins Metric A5 Week to View 2019-2020 Diary - Orange

I have been buying the same Collins Metric Week-View diary for five years now and this is by far the worst and most noticeable downgrade yet.In an effort to save material or money, the binding spine doesn't go the full width of the diary, the paper is incredibly thin, and they have removed key features that previous years had - such as the plastic bookmark, wallet, and useful or interesting guides like Religious Festivals, Conversions, Travel Information, and Academic Information (something you'd think an academic diary like this would continue to have).Yes this is still a great academic Week-to-View diary with ample space to write in each day and dates spanning July to July, but when features are removed and it's the same price you paid for the last one, is it really the same diary?I've attached photos of what you now get (minus the double-page spread of my actual week planner).

I have been buying the same Collins academic diary for the last 4 years. Unfortunately upon receiving this item I am dismayed to see that they have failed on quality for whatever reason this year. No plastic divider for you to put in the current week, no plastic wallet at the back to secure loose paper, and the quality of the paper and the plastic colour are much cheaper. Very disappointed and have returned straight away, will now have to find somewhere else to get my diary.

I have been buying these diaries for over 10 years for recording bookings and appointments (I am self employed and work out of my van) and have always been happy with them. Unfortunately they are no longer the quality they were. The wire binder which holds the pages in always ran the full length of the spine but now is just a section at the top and bottom with the middle section missing. The paper used for the pages is now so thin it is almost like tissue paper. Because of these 2 issues a few of the pages have already started to tear and fall out of the diary-something which has never happened before. I have only started using this new diary on the 1st of August (today is the 7th) as my old diary ran up to the end of July so it is starting to fall apart after 7 days use. They also on longer include the plastic clip in bookmark to enable you to easily locate todays page. These diaries were never the cheapest but I was happy to pay more for the quality-unfortunately they are now like cheap rubbish.

Not as comprehensive as the one I bought last year and there was no zip lock plastic pocket in the back to hold pens and stuff !

Is still a good product but much worse quality as previous ones, and is a similar price
