Good product.
A bit heavy. But otherwise big help to make good sized and thickness pooris etc. couldn't make rotis as without applying oil the dough cannot be rolled thin and flat. Size is also good for papad.

Very useful for making chapatis
Bigger dia, thickness as per your need. With application of a drop of oil, full dia is made with a single or double press - It peels out easily without sticking. We are making around 25 chapatis a day - hassle free with minimum efforts.Made more than 10,000 Chapathis so far...!

Chapattis shrink to the size of a thick small phulka!!
I got mine yesterday and tried wheat chapattis. First of all, you have to press it 5 times with all your might to get the big and round chapatti size. Ended up with a back ache at the end. The video is deceptive (or maybe they used papad dough). Secondly, the thickness was uneven. Very thin on one side and thick on the opposite side. Must be a defect coz I noticed a gap betweent the 2 white slabs later. Third, the chapattis SHRINK to the size of a phulka the moment you place them on a tava. So the end result is thick small phulkas. I'm wondering why no one has mentioned this in the reviews. I paid 2199 for this only coz of the great reviews here. The seller I bought from is known to sell defective items. So I have asked for a refund and now ordered it from the Manufacturer through Amazon. Hoping it works well coz they have mentioned it can be used for puris, rotis and chapattis also. Is anyone else also facing the shrinking effect while cooking their rotis?Review Update for replacement I got today :I ordered this papad maker twice.Once from a different seller and second from the Manufacturer which got delivered today. Both turned out to be defective.Today's unit was so shabily made. The metal is so sharp in so many places. The finish is so poor as compared to the one I ordered through the first seller. The two white plates are not even aligned! One side of the chapati is comes out thin and the other side very thick.I wonder if they even do a quality check on every unit. How do they justify the price?Today's chapatis didn't puff and the same dough when rolled with rolling pin puffed beautifully.I want to return this piece and take another one.Already Rs.4400 I spent and I'm yet to get a refund of Rs.2199. I really wanted this to work coz my maid makes horrible chapatis. Wondering if I should give it a last shot and order it again. It's unbelievable how people have rated this product. I just saw the reviews on Flipkart. Quite a few negative reviews there. Do Amazon buyers make do with junk or am I the only one receiving junk..that too twice?
