Great, sturdy product
My bird has only ever used wooden dowls up until now. It only took about 1 day, and he took to this full length perch. He seems very pleased!!

Seems good but possibly defective or a poor choice
It seems decent, but mine came defective:Mine came with a strange gash in it. I feel like1) it will reduce the overall stability of the perch2) potentially cause the screw to split the wood3) provide an easy starting point for my bird to start destroying the perchIf I would have known it had this gash, I would not have gotten it.See images

Not Suitable for Large Birds
My cockatoo chewed through 1 of 2 perches in a week...the other is much larger in diameter and is still somewhat intact.
