Cantilever Gate Wheels Cantilever Slide Gates Cantilever Gate Rollers - Set of 4

I had a 12’ opening and couldn’t use standard hinges to build a swinging gate because of clearance, I ordered these rollers and the installation was easy, they work good,& and the gate slides with minimal effort ( once you get some momentum) I built the gate so 1/3 of it is on the rollers at any time in open /or closed position. My 4x4 poles were 1/4” thick & gate was constructed out of 1/8” thick (2x2 frame)

I used these wheels to construct a cantilever gate across a ~10 foot wide driveway. (For the main part of the gate II used 2x4 beams; a couple of 16 ft beams and other smaller beams to finish the frame and to add bracing.) The wheels, which support this frame, are attached to a couple of 4x4 posts cemented into the ground. (4x4 posts are a bit smaller than 4x4, so I layered a plank, sold for fencing boards, to two sides of each post to get a more appropriate width on each side. Similarly, the groove on the wheels is a bit wider than the <2 inches of the 2x4 beams. That hasn't posed a problem.)Anyhow, the gate works well, and I have had no trouble with the wheels, which have functioned quite well for almost a year so far in temperatures ranging from 90 F to -11 F. I see no hint of future problems.
