Derwent2305601 Metallic Pencil Colours Blister Pack, Set of 6, Professional Quality Multicoloured One Size

Absolutely thrilled to find a set left of these pencils. The box is very pretty but it is the large range of colors that I was excited about. They also show up well on both black and white papers, can be used in coloring books as well. Handy so you don't have to ruin a thin papered but beautifully illustrated coloring book with mica watercolors - I have a lot of those as well. Sparkle plenty! My only sad thought, after only receiving them yesterday, was how quickly will I run through them, and where will I be able to purchase every new color in open stock?

These are beautiful, they have completely surpassed my expectations. The colours are gorgeous, particularly the more unusual ones like yellow, violet, turquoise, red and silver rose. They are all fairly well pigmented on first application, the texture is soft, they layer nicely and blend very well. I never thought I'd be interested in metallic pencils because bling is not really my thing but the Midnight Masquerade colouring book seemed to need a bit of shimmer and these seemed to be the best option. They are surprisingly subtle and I'm very glad that I opted for the full set because I think I'll be using them a lot.

Derwent is a brilliant brand anyway but I wasn't too sure about these aas I have yet to find a metallic pencil that does what I want it to do - and I have had ALL the good makes.These are the best. Creamy, pigmeny rich and lovely to use - blend them with Derwent coloured pencils for even more depth (yes they even blend!) .Excellent product.

Lovely box with magnetic closure and some new colours just for this special edition. Usually when i buy the metallic pencils you get 14 in a tin. The pencils are well protected as there's foam holding them in place.

These are great pencils. Comfortable grip, and the lead is smooth to use. Colours are beautiful. Would recommend.

Not impressed with these, lots of the colours look the same and only show up slightly on black paper. High price but not worth it
