Glass jar
As you can see in the picture, I have four of them on the left-hand side of my counter. I’ve had them for years. I use them to put my oatmeal pack in my Swiss Miss hot chocolate, and my hot apple cider, but you can use it for whatever you choose to use, but they’re very convenient. They don’t take much space on the counter and they look very decorative. And this glass container that I have on the right I’m gonna fill it up with some licorice or some type of candy. But you can fill it up with whatever you choose, but I just really love the size and the quantity that you can put into it in terms of candy or whatever you choose to put inside of it. It comes in very handy.

Perfect for kombucha
Perfect for kombucha! I fill with warm tap water to heat the glass, before pouring the hot water in for my sweet tea. It didn't crack, so A+++! Because I'm using this for kombucha, I don't need the lid, as I use flip top glass bottles for second fermentation, to ensure max bubbles (carbonation). The jar was well wrapped and packaged. Excellent price too! The glass is double walled, so it's pretty thick! I definitely recommend for kombucha. For pickling, something with a better lid would be advised. It says airtight, and it very well may be, but personally I use mason jars for pickling. This jar is best for kombucha! Update: Ive ordered several of these; Arkansas (made in USA) glass and Pakash(made in Italy)both have an excellent jar, I first ordered from them. The last jar I ordered from Amazon (shipped and sold by), the lid was broken upon arrival, I've since returned and am awaiting a replacement. The glass seemed good quality but does not state country of origin, the lid was the only broken part (it was cracked along the screw on part).........and although I usually don't use the lid I actually purchased this one for a scoby hotel, as my scobies are multiplying quickly!

Works great for making cold brew coffee!
This glass jar is a perfect size for making cold brew coffee. The lid is secure and I appreciate the glass's ability to get squeaky clean.

Great Jar for Sun Tea
I bought this jar to make sun tea, which I loved drinking in the summer as a kid. The jar is just what I needed! This jar is great because it does not have a spout. Most glass jars I found had spouts. These spouts inevitably leak, rendering the jar useless. Also, sun tea has been known to generate bacteria, which can make you sick. While I have never experienced this after drinking gallons and gallons of sun tea, I would prefer not to press my luck. The spouts on tea containers are very difficult to clean and could, I suspect, harbor harmful bacteria. A simple glass jar is much easier to clean than one with a spout. After brewing the tea, I simply pour the entire gallon into a plastic pitcher. The lid on this jar is great as well. Though a tight fitting lid was not necessary for my purposes, I'm sure others have need for a jar with a good lid. The lid is made of plastic and is lined with a membrane that creates a very nice seal, much like a plastic soda bottle cap. I have placed the lid on the top rack of the dishwasher a few times now, and it still creates a great seal each time I use it.All in all, this is a simple jar that does exactly what it ought to do.

Great Kombucha vessel
I purchased 3 of these but only 2 came with lids. I've had them for over a year and they are holding up very well. I use them continuously for kombucha batches. I would definitely recommend.

Expensive-ish thin but does the job
Standard fair quality. Kind of medium-thin glass, wouldn't want it to bang around in a dishwasher or bump it on a countertop. The price of these things have gone up by almost 6 dollars in a matter of weeks but nothing has changed about the product... It's not like the quality has improved..Just the price.. You can get them at the store for way cheaper. Sometimes I am a victim of Amazon prime shopping!!! (When you just order and get into a clicking frenzie because of the 2 day shipping!!) they are great for brewing up kombucha, they do the job. They arrived on time as well.
