Amazing
These food containers have literally saved my mental sanity.. how am I able to work, school, church, ministry, and get fully cooked meals on the table and for lunches each day…. The answer is meal planning and freezer meals. These containers are called Souper cubes.. they are a bit of an investment, but much better quality then the cheaper options . They are not at all flimsy like the cheaper options. The lid is tight and they are freezer, oven, and microwave safe.I make big batches of chili, Korean Cury, pasta sauce, soups, ect and save at lease a container for future meals. I simple pop out after it’s frozen add to a freezer bag or glass container for lunch… simple add a side dish ,salad , bread , ect. and you have a delicious homemade meal in minutes. I pack my lunch every day for work and sometimes dinner as well if I know I have church, or prison ministry. I have saved so much money on my grocery budget as food doesn’t go to waste, and no impulse fast food on busy nights. I am often asked to house/ dog sit last min and I simple pack a few meal options and no stress about what to eat on a weekend away from home. If you can buy it in the freezer section of any store you can probably make a healthier version , cheaper and better at home and simple freezer a bit more for later. If you don’t like eating left overs this is a way you can have options without eating a big pot of chili for a week. Just start making a bit extra of your favorite meal and add to freezer, in a few weeks you will have 3-5 option for later .Bonus they pop out so easy after they are frozen and if you are doing portion control this is an easy way to know how much you are eating as wash containers has measurements . You can get 1/2 cup-2 cup container. Say you want chili and rice for lunch.. just freezer 1/2 containers of rice, and 1 cup containers chili.. pop one of each out and add to glass containers , take to work and heat and enjoy! Homemade lunch to make any coworkers jealous .. 😉 wink wink wives. Say one of your kids is sick and you have a pot of chicken noodle soup .. add to freezer and you don’t have to cook multiple meals .. the options are endless.Ok enjoy my the commercial/ rant on these.. just trust me.. I have never loved a product so much in my kitchen.

The best choice available.
I’ve tried other cheaper brands and can, without hesitation, say Souper Cubes are by far the superior brand. I won’t make the mistake of purchasing any thing other than this.

So Much Better for Defrosting than Ziplocs
I was on the fence about getting these at first because of the price but now I'm sold on them. I first bought one of these for my sister for Christmas and she loved it.I was freezing things in Ziplocs but defrosting was a hassle. I would freeze my soup or stew flat but that meant defrosting it on a plate and then transferring it to a bowl. Very annoying. Sometimes the Ziplocs would leak too and there'd be a mess in my freezer. With these, I can pour in whatever I've cooked and put it in the freezer. When everything is frozen, popping the food out is very easy and it all comes out cleanly since the tray is a soft, yet sturdy, silicone. You don't have to ask yourself how the heck you're going to pry out your frozen food. I can fit about three of the 2-cup size cubes into a gallon-sized Ziploc.I bought two of these and it's a great amount for me. I batch cook for one. The two-cup size is a good amount to fit enough food into a regular sized bowl. I can grab one of the cubes, put it into a bowl, pop it in the microwave, and have a quick full dinner.

Great invention
Love these. They're sturdy and very flexible. I can portion out leftover soup, stews, lasagna, etc. and after freezing, pop them out and store in a larger freezer bag. Then chuck the mold in the dishwasher and it's good to go again.

Prefer LFGB silicone products as it is stricter than FDA
Prefer LFGB (EU certification) Silicone (stricter than FDA) for products that touch food but Souper Cubes appear to be one of the higher tier silicone products on US amazon right now.

Great Meal Prep Equipment
The media could not be loaded. I purchased these initially when my daughter-in-law asked me to make some soups and meals for them for the first week after she delivered our first granddaughter. I was able to make helpings for the two of them by simply using a for serving recipe, using the first two servings for my husband and me, and then labeling the soups into these compartments, putting the lid on and freezing the container. I found by doing this every other day about a month before her delivery. I could stock up on meals for them. Each of the two compartments holds enough for two servings or one if you have a big appetite. The soups typically freeze overnight then since the containers are silicone, they're quite pliable, and I can pop out the squares put them in a plastic bag, label the plastic bag and put them back in the freezer. The squares stack up beautifully so that you can prepare a number of meals put them in an ice chest and deliver them.I now use them to prepare for camping trips with our RV.
