Bought it for my child when they were almost close to one years old and already crawling. My child loved it! Ball is a decent size to not be eaten. Hands won’t get stuck in toy, toy is safe as long as they don’t hit their head with it. My kid liked to put other stuff in it, did not go too well but we loved the toy and music.

I purchased this toy and my 2 year old son loves it. I unpacked it and put it batteries to test it.The little noises it makes are fun and not scary. Even our dogs like it LOL. It moves well and is built sturdy. You just need a small screwdriver to install batteries but keeps them secure and out of little hands.I didn’t see any small parts to cause problems.This is not intended for teething but didn’t notice anything that would cause harm. My son will certainly “mouth it” as all babies do.Looks like a good toy.PROS:- VERY engaging; my son loves it- lights and music are sweet and not too annoying- It’s also a toy that he goes back to day after day, which does not happen with most toys we have. I think the fact that it is really cute and colorful (and musical) attracts him to it. He also loves toys that include balls, which is one of the reasons we chose this toyit's a nice, small sized toy that you could easily take with you to grandma's or something; a lot of toys that are like this are really big and this one is very small which is great;- music is not too loud and doesn't even have a loud setting (which I appreciate!); my toddler likes to turn all of our toys that have a loud setting onto loud on purpose and it drives me nutsWhen it comes to a product for baby, you must care for the following few characteristics:(1) Non-toxic: baby bites anything they can find, their hands, their feet, anything you give them. lol. So the toy must be non-toxic;(2) No sharp edges: same reason as above, the toy must be baby-mouth-friendly(3) Durability: self-explanatory. baby throw things a lot, and the toy must be able to withstand that(4) Interesting: to my opinion, this is really the least important part, especially for a baby younger than 2 years. They have no idea what is been played for them, anything they see or hear is interesting.So let's rank this toy based on these attributes:(1) The toy is made of plastic.So far, I haven't seen my baby able to bite of any piece of that plastic, so I would assume it is ok. However, it would be better if the manufacturer specify what is in the content of the plastic;(2) As you can see in the picture, no sharp edges so far. All edges are round-shaped. That is good for baby's hands and mouth.(3) My baby is pretty active. One down-side of having not very solid toy is that, it will create a sharp-edge if one piece falls off. That is something you wanna watch for.(4) So far I don't see my baby show any signs of recognizing any of them, and that is expected. As long as it keeps making some noise, my baby is happy. LOL.Overall:I would recommend this toy as one of your many collections. It is cheap, it is durable, and it is baby-friendly. That is good enough for me.Shipping was also great. It arrived on time and nicely packaged. I was really pleased with the entire process and the toy itself. A great buy!

We purchased this little train for my seven month old son for Christmas. I guess I assumed it was just another toy that had lights and made sound, but this has actually become one of my favorite toys of his.The lights are colorful, and will catch your attention. It also plays music and comes with three different colored balls. The thing that I like is that you can use it in different modes. It can sit still and just rotate the balls. It can move while rotating the balls. When it moves, it will sense that it runs into some thing and change direction. You can also change the mode so that the balls don’t just move through the train. They can actually come out the back for your baby to grab and put back in when they’re old enough.If, for some reason, some thing happens and the ball gets stuck inside, the back does pop off so you can get the ball out. There is also a start and pause button to easily be pushed on the top that starts the lights, music, and the balls rotating.Definitely recommend!!!

The toy was received in an timely manner and was very nicely packaged. The toy train is absolutely adorable and engaging with various settings. The train can be set to drop the balls as it goes or just let them rotate in the front compartment. The lights and sound effects are fun as well. I purchased this toy for my son thinking that it would work on our saltillo tile floors, however, it kept getting stuck in the grout lines. I would highly recommend this toy to anyone with smooth level flooring such as vinyl, hardwood and smooth tile floors. I also tried this train on a couple different play mats but it didn't work very well. I ended up returning it because it just wasn't compatible with our flooring. Hopefully the manufacturer will modify this product so that it isn't so sensitive because it sure does have the potential to be a really fun and entertaining toy.

My one year old loves this. He can’t quite keep up with the chase feature yet but he loves the sound and lights. Works well on Berber carpet— the mode where the balls come out of the back of the train keeps him engaged for fairly long stretches of time.

This is a really cute toy that my son has been enjoying. We love the bright colors and the fact that it encourages interactive play with the balls. This can keep my child occupied and entertained for quite some time! I talk about trains when we are playing with this toy and the sounds are so much fun. I believe that this is age appropriate but even some younger kids may enjoy it as well. This is a really cute toy that I would recommend, for your own child or to purchase as a gift for someone else.

This is a great toy and both of my kids really enjoy it! I love that you have the option to keep it closed in the back so the balls come in and out on their own without flying everywhere. And it moves on it’s own, when it comes across a block like a carpet, it goes back to another direction instead of stopping! My 1 year old and 2 year old love chasing it around and throwing the balls inside. It really keeps them occupied and happy, so I absolutely love it! Totally worth it :)
