Well made & just the right size to make a good hot meal.
This is a great stove! I have had similar folding stoves but this one beats them all. I bought the large model and it comes in a sipper carrying case. For camping it's great no burning $ on fuel tanks. Just put a small can inside with a little sterno gel or alcohol and a few wood chips. The stove also has a large surface grate on top to accommodate a large pot or pan. I live in Florida, and after the power goes out for a few days, this stove is a keeper... to have on hand!

Great grilling unit
this product is easy to use and is sturdy. Heat output was great for what we needed, and is great for camping.

It’s better than most for the design
Stove works good and is very sturdy built which makes it a little heavy but it’s not to bad, my only complaint is the grill grate has a very hard time sitting on top the way it is designed too. They cut slots on the sides for grate to sit in but mine didn’t fit in the slots I had to modify the slots to allow it to fit.

Perfect little stove
The picture shown is my first use. I think it is very sturdy. My cast iron weighs a good bit and held it up no issue. It can put out some heat also. Breaks down to a small size. Easy to assemble. My only issue as some have said is the door is a little finicky with the handle but I just leave it open while cooking to let the air flow in and keep feeding the fire. The door works fine just a little twisting and turning needed to get it to latch. Overall it’s worth the money, It’s durable, and will last a while from what I can tell.

Cool Little Stove
I have recently been wanting to go camping again. I haven’t been in so long that I did not have any gear which created two issues: 1. Starting at scratch 2. getting to try lots of new things! This was one of those little guilty pleasures. I had to ask myself a question: would I like to have a portable firebox I can use anywhere? Answer: YES.First of all, this stove has some weight to it. It is made out of stainless steel. Which means if you’re an ultralight hiker with an ideal pack weight, go ahead and see yourself out of this review. If you don’t care about weight and want to have a fun way to cook; keep reading.Second, this little firebox is well built. I do not have any suspicion of this thing breaking anytime soon.Third, grate turned red hot during the process. I’m not sure if that was intended, but it was alarming (see pictures). I ran some tests to check integrity and it seems even though the grate gets red hot, it will not bend too severely. If this sound concerning, I would suggest purchasing the grill option instead.Summary:Functional, although a bit heavy, firebox that can support some heavier cooking vessels. Easy to use and easy to clean.

This thing is awesome but a bit heavy
So this thing is well built, folds up nice and comes with a carry bag. I love that you could build a Dakota fire pit, put this on top and then put the bottom try on top and now you got an oven. Its big enough to actually grill a stake on and doesn't require gas which is a plus. I will warn anyone thinking about using this for hiking that it is quit heavy and theres smaller lighter options to get the job done. Thats my only complaint and don't think that warrants taking off a star because every tool has its place including this one. I'm not the type to get mad at a quality screw driver because it makes a bad hammer. Just be aware this thing has the weight of 2 large heavy school books and will take up the amount of space in your bag 1 large school book would. This would be great for SHTF or camping but hiking the PCT or AT this would not be good for that, it's just too heavy.

AMAZING! Lil heavy tho.
The media could not be loaded. This product is absolutely fabulous, even though I burned my bloody hand cuz I tipped one of the handles into live coals and didnt notice. Beastly little bugger gets wicked hot with very little effort. Per DNR in Iowa this meets the criteria to utilize outdoors anywhere as long as the fire is contained in the manufactured container and poses no fire risk, he was super hot so Im glad the whiney Karen complained about my cooking... at a CREEK. (Not the video in the review)I highly recommend to any nature lover that needs a decent stove while theyre out. Its collapsible, its design burns hot as hell so you dont needs as much fuel and it doesnt produce as much smoke. The pot holder top has claws on hinges to accomodate small or large pots or pans and was SO worth the extra couple dollars to have.It IS a bit heavier than I expected but for us that hike seriously, the weight isnt too bad.Cools off very quick when youre finished... only downside i can think of is the ring for the door hinge is too small... i had to design my own tool to open and close it. Which, you dont need to very often except to stoke or stir as its by far easier to slide the pan over and toss some sticks in the top.Again... I FREAKING LOVE THIS STOVE!even the sexy DNR dude was amazed by it.
