Perfect when compact binoculars needed
Best binos in the world aren’t any good if you don’t have them with you. These are small enough that the can be with you most of the time when traveling. Well made with great optics. Price makes them a “no brainer.”

Good Quality, small package
Good quality, clear optics. Good value for the money. Can see very clearly and has smooth operation. If you dont want to spend a lot of money, this is the perfect small pair of binoculars.

Good value for the build quality
The binocular is very light. The pupil distance can be adjusted to much closer distance so kids can use it. What make it stand out is the build quality. There might be cheaper products but the better build quality on this product worth the extra cost. The optics quality is pretty good too. Also this model can focus to much close distance like 2~3 meters.I also bought a couple of focus-free binoculars from another brand similar to this size. But I'm going to return them. For the focus-free binocular the minimum distance to get clear view is very far. That means if a bird landed on a tree near to you, the focus-free binocular isn't going to work. Another issue with the focus-free binocular is that you have to use it with your eye-glasses otherwise you can't get a clear view if don't have a perfect eye sight.

Disappointed
The binoculars seemed well made with decent materials and optics, but alignment was grossly off. The two images were skewed obliquely causing an instant headache. Given the name Ricoh/Pentax, I expected better quality control.

Good field of vision for theatre
I can see more of the stage with the 8x21 than my 10x21. I prefer the independent eye focus because my contact lenses are more mono vision. This is a big perk for me.

Ok. So so. Not bad. Better choice is Nikon Trailblazer 8X25
Very narrow field of view. Optics are OK. Better choice is Nikon Trailblazer 8X25. Better optics, better build quality and fantastic FOV.

Works for me
I wanted binos to watch birds at our deck feeders - about 15' distance. Most binos are for much longer distances. These work well and they are NOT fixed focus, you can adjust them. They are also compact and reasonably priced.

Nice optics. Great value.
Really nice for looking at birds in the yard. I've used Leica, Zeiss, and Swarovski. These are, of course, a world away from those but so good for hanging by the kitchen window, leaving on a window sill, in a glove box, or whatever.
