20 x 40 Feet + 8 Feet Center End Steps In Ground Pool Safety Cover

I have an automatic cover that was added after my 40 x 20 pool was built. The rails rest on the cement deck immediately next to the pool's edge. I found out the hard way that in the winter, the added weight of the rain or snow on the cover would pull it away from the rails, bending the rails out of alignment and ripping the cover. So consequently I could not cover my pool from September to May. Although fenced in, lots of debris would fall in the pool and it took a lot of cleaning before opening the pool for summer. I searched for a solution and for the best mesh pool cover. Yard Guard met all my requirements including fair price, size, center steps cover, enough extra length to cover the pool cover box, color, free shipping with no wait AND most importantly...ease in installing. The directions were good, the hardware pieces complete and in one day, my pool was covered for the winter. Right now there are a few inches of snow sitting on top of my Yard Guard cover and I have no worries about an uncovered pool. There will be less opening work for me in the spring,too. I am a very satisfied customer!

Our old safety cover was beginning to wear out and was very heavy. I saw this one on Amazon and due to the reviews, I purchased this one. It is one of the least expensive safety covers out there. My only problem was my old cover had different spacing in concrete anchors. I was able to use eight of my corner anchors but needed to drill the rest.I rented a hammer drill and 3/4” bit and easily drilled the new holes and inserted the anchors rather quickly. The time consuming part of the install was attaching and adjusting the strap buckles. It took approximately 5 hours to complete.This is a high quality safety cover at a great price.

This cover fits the same as the one we bought 13 years ago. The springs were very easy to install. The straps matched previously drilled holes. Everything went great. As for durability, we will see if this one lasts 13 years!!

Missing pieces, but great cover

This fit just like it described, good material. For the price best one we have ever bought. This came with every thing but the drill bit that you need. We have paid a lot more for the covers and they never fit and we always had to go back and order more supplies

The media could not be loaded.  This is my first purchase on something like this. I know friends that had theirs professionally Installed. This was not hard at all too install. And for the due it yourself price it is hands down the best choice.
