The waistband is super elastic. The underskirt is soft and comfy. It adds a lovely fullness to a skirt without being over the top. If you wanted to have the bottom hem peek out from under a dress it could be very cute. Vacuum packed so need to fluff out to get full effect but not bad quality for the price
I was a little disconcerted when this arrived as it is vacuum packed and looks awful so you need to unpack it and shake it out to even get an idea of what it will be. I then put it in a steamy bathroom and it settled down into just what I wanted, a bit of movement for a dress that is otherwise a little clingy and would have given it five stars except for the sizing...it is very small the XL is not a size 20 it is more like a size 14 and as a size 18 (I went bigger just in case) the flat lining layer is skin tight, so I have slit the sides to add more comfort.The quality is good for the price but you need to put some effort in to getting the layers to lay tight due to the vacuum packing. Nice layers and a goos length - I am five feet five and it is ankle length.Shame about the sizing but if you are aware you can allow for it.

Pleased with my purchase
This is a good petticoat, I'm pleased with my purchase. I usually wear a small and it fits me well. I like that I can get volume at the bottom without adding a huge amount of volume at the hips. It's comfortable to sit in as well with the fabric at the top.
