I have been told by people I'm talking to that the sound quality of my voice on their end is superb with this relatively inexpensive Voistek headset. It is much better than when I use my LG blue-tooth set that hangs around my neck. The key, apparently, to any sound quality is to have the microphone as close to your lips as possible. Seems obvious, but I'm surprised today that so many people are content with almost intolerable sound quality, using "speaker phone" for instance.And, this device is far superior to any plug-in set up for your phone in a car where the microphone is mounted on the steering wheel. In that set-up, you can hear the other person fine over the car radio, but the listener on the other end cannot understand you over the steering wheel microphone.My only complaint about this Voistek device is that it is mailed with no instruction sheet or user guide. I made an effort to find a "user guide" on the internet with no success. In fact, I could not even find a website for a company called "Voistek." Who the hell are they? As we used to say in Carolina, "Who's your daddy?" It's an old fashioned concept, but some of us want to know these things.Revised: Nov 15, 2015, I bought a second one of this headset so I could keep one in both cars. It works fine, good sound quality on my end, and, I'm told, good sound quality on the other end. And, it does not need recharging as bluetooth sets need. Still, it is irritating that there is no user guide included or a reference to who "Voistek" is. Not a link to a company website.... nothing. This headset works great. I am a work-at-home customer service agent and i needed a new headset. The package came as described with the headset and an adapter. The calls are very clear on both ends and these do not pick up background noise from my end. The earpiece is ok, a little uncomfortable because it is small (kind of hurt a little). I was able to reposition it a few times to ease the pressure. The microphone is very flexible making it easy to adjust to your exact needs. The headband is plastic but seems durable if properly cared for. Overall, this is a great product.

I will say straight up that I've never had one of these phone headsets last for too long. Several months or so. And I don't mean this brand, I mean -any- phone headset. So I am going in expecting that in a few months it probably won't work well. But! These do work great at the moment and I'm hoping the trend will end. The calls are clear both receiving and sending. The microphone is clear and doesn't pick up a lot of background noise. I tested it several times and it is working perfect. My wife will be using this to take calls for her work for a couple weeks while she works remotely. I expect they will serve well for that. One thing to note is that I received the headset in the picture as described, but did not receive a white adapter cable. Instead it was just a one-piece solid 1 1/2 inch straight black adapter plug. It still works and does the job, but it's not the 3-4 inch white corded one you see in the picture. But that's not important to me. Overall it seems to be a solid headset for a phone. Worked with a Motorola Android and an iPhone 6 with no problems.

So happy I purchased this. I work from home and have to make phone calls while I take notes. I use an iPhone and this plugs in perfectly. I have used Bluetooth earbuds in the past and have had complaints that the people I was speaking with couldn't hear me that well, and also the fact that I had to endure it was always charged. This product is great because no charging/batteries are required, and I tested it on my family and asked them if I sounded any different, and they said it was crystal clear and had no idea I was using a device. It is a little tight on my head but I don't wear it all day so it's not a problem for me.Update: I've had it for 5 months and today it decided to stop working. I can't hear anything from the headphones. I don't use them that often. Very disappointing and waste of money.

Worked great for about a month and then it has completely stopped working. I can still hear people but they can't hear me at all. It's like there's mute activated but it's not activated on my phone and I can't find a mute button anywhere on the headset. Really unfortunate since the sound quality was fantastic and they were exactly what I needed for work.

I really liked this headset. I work from home and used them for conference calls (mostly to India) all the time. They work much better than my bluetooth headset. People can hear me better and I could hear just find. I used them with my iphone 6. However, I have only had these for just over 7 months and they quit working out of the blue. I put them on for a call today and there was no sound, nothing. I tried them with my ipod and no sound there either. I had recently wrapped the cord and put them into a briefcase for a business trip although I did not use them on the trip. When I returned home, they stopped working, so my hunch is that wrapping the cord probably caused a connection in the cord to break. So now they are useless. I am ordering a different brand similar headset(Comdio) to see if it will last longer. I'm disappointed that they did not last long, but really liked them while they worked.

Arrived on-time and damage free. I was a little surprised the item did not have its own carton. It arrived in a sealed plastic bag in an Amazon overpack. I purchased this for my mother-in-law who only has one hand. She struggles occasionally while talking on the phone. She cannot switch hands like most of us do. She loves how easily this headset slides on and how comfortable it is. The volume control is on the cord and is very easy to adjust. This beats the adjustment being located on the headset itself. I thought the corded unit would be easier for her to use rather than the bluetooth. She is 79 years old and I am a lot younger and struggle with bluetooth connections at times.
