Ugly but effective
Ugly? Yes. Kinda gross? Definitely. But do they work? Oh yeah, you betcha. The flies were driving me absolutely bonkers this summer so I bought these and put one in my kitchen window and one in my living room window. They definitely don't catch all the flies, but they catch enough that I'm not going crazy with all the bzzzt bzzt noises. I wouldn't even notice them all that much except for the fact that they don't just catch flies, they also catch moths so you'll just have this giant moth kinda... Stuck there. Staring. But small price to pay for sanity.

Pretty good on catching gnats and flies just not the best I've had.

Works ok.
Glue melts in high temps. Cost is a factor.

Fly enemy
This worked great on the house flies. Set it in an area where you won't have to look at it. It lasts long also.

⚠️SAFETY WARNING⚠️
I cannot stress how awful these monstrosities truly are! The packaging is holy inadequate. The construction of the product itself (these insect, glue traps) is unbelievably poor. I understand that you get what you pay for but this is ridiculous! There's absolutely no labeling or warnings of any kind on the packages. Just a plain, white box. Which might not be so terrible if the traps had a protective wrap around the glue like any other glue trap. I understand that you get what you pay for but this is ridiculous. When I attempted to take these out & set them up the top/plastic cap was so thin that it instantly folded into the glue, broke, & fell. It probably would have stuck to & destroyed my floors if my poor kitten hadn't just happened to be running across my feet at the exact moment it fell. So, instead... it was SIGNIFICANTLY worse! The obnoxiously over-glued roll stuck to her tail & hip. Causing her to panic & flop around like a fish on dry land. It was so sappy & gooey that I couldn't even cut it off of her. I had to rip it & a good chunk of her fur off... after trying everything from dish soap to olive oil to remove the monstrosity as painlessly as possible. Then I had to cut off almost all the fur on her hip & half of her tail fur to get rid of the remaining glue.Yes, I realize that I should have probably tried to set these up in an area that the cat couldn't have randomly come running into like she did... but... I would've ended up with a terrible mess in either case. My cat wouldn't have been traumatized in the exact way that she was but she probably still would've ended up traumatized nonetheless. As I said, it would've landed on & ruined the floor. I doubt I would've been able to adequately remove the glue from the floor without taking apart the section of the floor itself. Which would've possibly lead to the glue getting on her paws... or at the very least... her having to endure the trauma of a strange contractor in the house or something. So, yeah... the money that's saved in the initial purchase is not worth the price paid for the damage these things will inflict. The least they could do is a warning label or a protective jacket.
