Met All of My Expectations and Changed How I Do Dishes
Have had the dishwasher installed for almost 2 months. I can't believe how this has changed my life. I run one of the two drawers every couple days vs running my old dishwasher once a week. I have run both drawers simultaneously as well when I had lots of dishes from a dinner party and it worked great. The only complaint is there is no light in the dishwasher which is pretty standard now. It is not the end of the world but would be a nice to have so you don't have to have all the lights in the kitchen turned on.

That concept is so amazing! Everything drawer is great
Pros: Drawer dishwashers are the way to go. That concept is so amazing! Everything drawer is great.Cons: Needs more care than Trumps hair. It has errored out 3 times already, I turn off the circuit breaker to reset. The water pump especially in the lower washer is really loud. If I'm going to pay this much for a dishwasher I want it to be stellar. Had I paid $300 I'd be stoked, it's that additional $1000 that's got me frustrated.Next time: I'll find a different brand drawer washer.

I got duped and bought one a second time! Don't drain properly
I have back trouble, so I loved having a dishdrawer dishwasher. Ours was with the house when we bought it and it never drained properly. This led the part of the dw under the metal grate to become slimy and disgusting. But in 2017, when we built our house after a fire, I talked to the rep and asked him - did they fix that? He assured me they had and so I got the double dish drawer for >$1250. Note, we learned the first time that you have to get every speck of food off everything that goes into the dw or you're sunk. Even so, it is just as before - never drains properly - and the repairman who came today said, "Yeah, they just do that." So we are either going to have to sell it to some other poor soul and replace it with a Bosch, OR continue as we are - washing dishes by hand and using it only for parties and sopping up the watter/cleaning it afterwards.. These machines are a engineering failure. What happens is the pump turns off when the water in the dw gets low. They need to engineer a mechanism that then sucks the water from the little kidney-shaped depression with a plastic lid and moves it toward the pump to reactivate it - or they need to slant things differently. For $1250, this pair of machines is junk.

Breaks every six months, and now we're out of warranty
First, the worst part: 1/4"long roaches, native to australia, were living in our dishdrawer when we got it. Seems there isn't a screen to keep them from getting into the interior like there used to be in the early models. So after six months, the imported roaches had a city inside our dish drawer, and had eaten through various parts of the motherboard. It was still under warranty, so we got another motherboard-from australia, took over a month. Six months after that, needed another motherboard.Long and short, it's a month past warranty, the motherboard is almost as expensive as a new dishwasher and we have roaches that we are constantly fighting. Thanks for nothing, fisher paykel.

easily cleaned with white vinegar
So, shortly prior to the purchase of our 1930 Colonial, the previors owner completely remodeled the kitchen, using solely Fisher Paykel/DCS appliances. The dish drawer fronts are classy stainless steel, easily cleaned with white vinegar. The upper drawer is taller than the lower, providing for excellent cleaning of larger items. That being said, one must take care to not place items in it taller than the top edge so the lid can completely seal. Apparently, that causes water leaks, which generates an error code. We wash our coffee pot, filter basket and holder, mugs, juicer and blender jar daily, along with the accumulated dishes and utensils that comes with the morning's fare. The lower drawer holds all other manner of kitchen ware, without difficulty. it just can't be too tall. We initially used the short cycle with eco setting, for obvious reasons. Saving water and air drying is what we all should be doing, right? Well, I discovered that the kidney-shaped filter screen in the bottom under the utensil basket gets really scummy, plugged and gross. It's easy to clean, though. A veggie brush and dish soap tackles the job easily. I now use the normal cycle on eco and the screen stays clean much longer. And the dishes never emerge dirty or with soap scum on them. Dishwasher powder is called for here, you can't use tablets of any type. I clean the interior monthly by placing a measuring cup of white vinegar on the bottom rack and a half cup of baking soda on the top one, run it on the longest cycle with eco (no dryer) and the interior is sparkling clean. Those are the pros. Not to say I haven't had issues. I got the dreaded disco lights on the control panels, which meant a service call. I luckily found a company who specalizes in FP/DCS. He found the issue in no time, replaced a part (worn wheel or dilithium crystal or something) and have not had an issue since. This guy has a truck full of parts for it. I'm not sure what that says about the quality, durability and life expectance, but ours are at least 6 or 7 years old. 10/10 would purchase.
