I was happy buying this as i saw it came with so many colors, i got lots of greens and blue, only 1 black and 1 yellow. So it’s not super even when it comes to all the colors, so if that’s not something you’re okay with, know that. I don’t really mind, since i got more of the colors i use more. So far 2 colors had a small knot in them. The strings are soft. Very few cons, but i think it’s still worth buying.

This isn't the highest quality floss but you can't beat the variety and quantity of floss for the price. I bought it for my granddaughters who just started embroidery and it is perfect. I'm not sure if I would plan on using it for a high profile project.

I received these yesterday so I can have a more robust embroidery floss collection on hand for random projects. While I’m not super picky at this point because I am a beginner, I know I will be needing to use an iron for some projects, so I prefer cotton. This listing says in a few places that this gloss is 100% cotton. I just did the burn test and this thread MELTED, meaning it’s definitely not a natural fiber. I have to do more testing to see what will happen when I iron this thread, but I’m definitely nervous about it. It is soft and shiny and Would be great for learning embroidery and friendship bracelets. I will update when I know more about how it performs in real projects and the iron test.

I wanted to make bracelets for my friends and it was amazing it had everything I needed to start and it was so much fun, would recommend

I used the thread to create bracelets and they looked nice. It did it’s job and colors lasted a decent time while in the sun. I wore the bracelets all summer and they did fade but that’s expected with being in the sun. Overall good thread and I would buy again.

I bought this as a small Christmas gift to me because I was running out of embroidery colors. This is really worth it for about $6. I believe I got the 60 piece set and wasn’t disappointed. The colors are amazing, and I am a fan of the selections of greens and neutral tones. I haven’t tested them yet but they look like they would hold well. It even brought a few skeins and a metal thing I don’t know what it’s for, but it needed more aliens for the amount I got. But overall I’m very happy!

I ordered this for a string art project with a Girl Scout troop. There was plenty of colors for the girls to choose from. They could each take what they wanted and not have to wait for someone else to cut off a section. Good quality. Did tangle easily, but I think that was more the girls than a problem with the embroidery floss.

This was advertised as 100% cotton thread. It is definitely not cotton. I performed a burn test, and it reacted exactly as a synthetic material would. It melted and did not burn nor smell like cotton should. Not to mention, a couple of the skeins came to me looking like they have already been half used. I am unsatisfied, and if the material from which your threads are made is an important factor to you, you may find yourself unsatisfied too, after purchasing from this brand.

I was really amazed at the colours that were in this package. Of the 136 skeins I only got 1 that was a double. I love that the colours range from brights to darks, pastels to muted. They skeins are soft and they are all numbered.I don’t have dmc colours but I checked online and the numbers and colours seem to match each other or at least are close enough to use as references.As for variances, don’t know if every bag has the same colours or if each bag has random colours but mine ranged from #152-996 and #3012-3863. Mind you, there are inconsistencies. I did get a bunch that were sequential but most have gaps in numbers. I did take pictures of the skeins with the numbers facing up so you can see the exact numbers and colours I got.Will Definitely repurchase again when I need to restock!UPDATE 07/30/2020: Just purchased another 140 and 250 separately. I had no problems with the 140 pack, then the 250 came and the skeins are not numbered, and I'm pretty sure there are doubles if not triples or quadruples of the same colours for a few of them. Kinda disappointed with the bad batch I got this time. I'm gonna have to put these aside and figure out how to colour code them later.Also, I also found out that not all the numbers match the codes provided sometimes. For instance the colour skein is purple but then you find the DMC code and the number indicates it should be green. So just be careful.

I tested them to burn, these aren't cotton, they are either poly/cotton blend. Each Floss is not 8.75 yards long. Just 7.85 yards. SHORT. They are a lier.

WoW! 250 colors, or probably closer to 230 with some repeats. I have been carding them for a couple of days and have found them to be very close to the standard thread available through Dollar Stores. While I have been separating and sorting, I have also started embroidering. With only about 6-8 hours of sewing, I have experienced no serious problems.They don't thread quite as easily as the ones I have been buying, but this is a matter of the size of the hole in the needle. I have used a threading tool on occasion when there was a problem. A very fine buy.

I'm not happy with the colour choice. Too much green, not enough white and no black. Bought 3 bags of the 250 colour and receive multiple (2-4) of one single colour per bag just one grey there are 11 of one shade. It would have been nice if I had received some black . I have projects that need black and now I don't know why to do and also I needed white, 4 white won't go far.
