This tarp isn't the lightest tarp. Probably not the lightest thing for backpacking but for car camping or setting up in the yard or park it works great.Here is my story:I recently bought three of these tarps for a first time hammock camping trip to Lake Huron in the thumb area of Michigan USA. This was our first time using these tarps besides setting them up once or twice at the park. They preformed flawlessly. Our trip was only for two days but for a day and a half we had 15 mile and hour sustained winds coming right of the lake, with gusts way higher than that. My anxiety was through the roof thinking that the tie out would bust but they didn't. I was super impressed the whole time. We broke a couple of the tie out lines but that was only because they were rubbing on the stakes. We also had a little rain and stayed completely dry. The stakes provided were not enough for the sandy windy environment we had but for yard use on a normal day they should work great.Overall buy this tarp. I'm thoroughly impressed. This is a well made tarp. Lots of good ideas at play, plenty of tie off points, metal eyelets, seams taped, good water proof coating on the underside, rip stop nylon, color matching guy line...Great quality.I feel that this material is way to shinny and the color grey is not nearly as dark as my monitor made it appear. The color is like battle ship grey. Sort of a medium grey. I thought it was going to be darker. I was thinking of a graphite grey or a wet smooth river rock grey. The fabric is very high quality. Perhaps this fresh fabric is very shinny when new, but will dull with time. But I hung this tarp on my fence at night, and it looked more like silver than dark grey. I was hoping to use this in a bug out bag but I don't think that reflective silver fabric will make a good hide out. Its still a good tarp, despite what I was hoping for.

Definately better that other tarps, with 19 tie down points and endless configurations.

Seem like a durable product, haven't tested if waterproof yet. Good size to weight.

Their Quality control needs help. If your going through the trouble to put grommets why wouldn’t you make sure their center. None of them are center their all hanging off the side. That’s bothersome to me. I might return it.

I liked the multiple tie off points. It was used for sun shade. I didn’t like the durability. We only used it 3 times for not very long each time and each of the tie off points are tearing.

Excelente llegó antes. Es mas pesada de lo que esperaba, la tela es gruesa, espero que por ello resulte resistente y duradera.El color es genial, y en general me gustó mucho. La probare pronto.
