Kidz Bop, Vol. 22

Now kids can listen to current pop music without parents having to worry about inappropriate language in the lyrics. Quality of Kidz Bop music is also good and seems appealing to kids in the tweens age group. Only marked it 4 stars as I got sick of the hundred of times my kid repeatedly played the CDs.

My 7 year old requested this specific Kidz Bop cd and is very pleased with it! (She says it's partly because it has 'What makes you Beautiful' on it and she likes to flip her hair [a line in the song]!)

We have been listening to Kidz Bop CDs for several years. Either the quality is getting better, or they've just grown on me. From my son's perspective (age 7), this is a CD just for him and he loves it. From my perspective, the singing and production quality are both good, and it's a fun game to listen carefully enough to determine how the lyrics have been changed (e.g., on "Glad You Came", a line about drinking becomes a line about dancing). I'm not as concerned about the lyrics of the original songs since my son doesn't seem to notice or pay attention to them, but parents can be assured that anything remotely inappropriate has been changed (on a different Kidz Bop CD, a reference to 2:30 a.m. in Taylor Swift's "Mine" became 2:30 P.M.). Kidz Bop 22 seems to be using older kids/teenagers as the singers, and a boy and girl will often take turns singing on a track (which I prefer to the use of choruses of younger kids). We bought this CD the day it was released and look forward to the next one!

My 4&6 yr old nieces love this! They know all the words and I am happy they have slightly altered the lyrics so they are kid friendly :-)

I have been finding it tricky to find suitable good music that is appropriate for Primary School age children. I stumbled on Kids bop. In thinking of Kids bop, i did not know if such songs would be good, in how they would sound like compared to the sound of the original artist.In receiving such Cd, and listening to such, these kids do an amazing job with their singing, such sounds just like the original artist in how they sing and the music, also the words they sing within the songs being adapted that is suitable for kids. Which I am very happy with such. I would highly recommend this CD, to people whom wants kids to listen to age appropriate music.

The perfect album for summer! All 16 songs are upbeat and great to dance and sing along to! Some of the most fun tunes on here are Drive By, Part Of Me, Feel So Close, and Tonight is the Night.
