Q: I am a male with short coarse hair and have had it professionally relaxed in the past. I am not of african-american descent, is it okay to use?

I would do a hair test first. I would cut 4-5 strands of hair and apply the product as I would on my hair and see what the results are. It would also help to know what chemical was used in your previous relaxers.

Q: Will this make my hair fall out if I do it wrong or in general? I have long hair and am a male.

I am a 56 year old black woman with mixed blood which means my hair is “mixed”. My hair is relatively long too reaching to midback at longest point. If you follow the directions you should be fine as I have only seen hair growth. Must take care to only apply to new growth and honestly if someone can do it for you or with you that may be best as the problem I have sometimes is just keeping hair off my face and away from eyes. Long hair is trickier in terms of staying safe from unintentional contact. Put Vaseline on scalp, edges of face, earlobes, and neck and have papetowels readily available. One thing I have to say though is that for me this product doesn’t completely straighten hair, it just loosens the curl. Not sure if it is my hormones and age. I use to get straighter results but I really like having a little curl in my hair so it’s perfect for me. I think everyone is different so try a test patch of hair first. Good luck.

I follow the guide in box. U can cut 2 strands of your hair and test and time it first. everyone texture is different.
