It's great until it flattens out
I purchased a bumpnest a couple months ago, and it was heavenly. The amount of stuffing was perfect and I slept better than I had in a long time. However, I've recently found that the nest is majorly uncomfortable, due to the shift in stuffing. All the stuffing from the head has disappeared into the long side of the nest, making the long side huge and impossible to put between my legs or slide slightly under my back for back support, and I also have to use 2 pillows under my head because it's totally flat. I read that washing helps, so I did that but it did not help. I also tried "fluffing" and moving the stuffing around, as did my husband, but its impossible to get it back to its original state. I only used it for less than 2 months. From other reviews I've read, this is a common complaint yet they still claim that washing solves the issue. I am here to tell you that it does not, and that I can't recommend the bumpnest for that reason.

A good body pillow, not as good as a regular high quality pillow though
This is a great body pillow for pregnancy that I started using around 4 months when my back started hurting and a pillow between the knees wasn't cutting it. This helps a lot, but I toss and turn in my sleep so I wish it was a complete U shape. You can still make do by pulling the long part between your legs from the back if you are on the short side though, because attempting to flip this thing around while under the covers is ridiculous. I don't know if I notice any help with the back support part. The cover is soft and it feels nice, but the bright colors are brighter in life than the the photos & the light are darker (I returned the golden bloom because it was childlike in color and got the stone scallop which is darker gray than the picture.... stupid shabby chic photo filter, not accurate at all. Neither is the "lookbook" on their website. Pretty, but I want to see what I am really getting and not pay more for a replacement cover!)The main negative I have is that it is not as good as a regular pillow for your actual head. If you're like me and have a memory foam contour pillow that conforms to your head/shoulder, then you will have to get used to use this (aka have a sore neck for a week+) because it isn't as firm and is higher up. Then after that it eventually compresses and becomes too flat!! I've heard washing it helps it get back to it's normal fluffiness so I am going to try that. If I would have known this I might have just gotten a regular body pillow to keep with my nice pillow (or at least tried that in the first place before buying this, but I was suckered into all the mommy blogs raving about this thing so I forked out the $100. Not I am forcing myself to stick with it). Also the fabric pills if you have flannel sheets or flannel pajama pants :( And lastly, this thing is big. It works fine in a king, but smaller than that and it would be like sleeping with 3 people!

Awesome prego pillow!
Very nice pillow. Worked wonders on my comfort during my last pregnancy. It was more comfortable though for me to use it upside down with the curve at my feet and a separate pillow at my head. (I'd also find my husband curled up with it from time to time.) Only downfall is that the once soft cover did become pilly after a short while. I had to use a sweater shaver frequently to take off the larger pills, but I couldn't quite get rid of the smaller less noticeable ones. Oh, and make sure to fluff it up from time to time. But, overall, I would still recommend buying this pillow. It was soft, squishy and supportive. Plus, being able to put the whole pillow in the wash was a bonus:)

It's the only reason I sleep comfortably at night while pregnant
Thank goodness for this pillow. It's the only reason I sleep comfortably at night while pregnant. It is quite large and pushes my husband off to the side, but it does what it says. Nice pattern that allows it to be displayed vs. hidden when the bed is made.

Not worth it
I am not happy with the Bump Nest pillow. It has a nice cover-soft but after sleeping on it for a couple hours it is flat and the stuffing has gaps. Also the pillow does not stay in place through the night and goes in what ever direction it wants. There is no stiffness at all to it. Not worth $100 to me. Will not be keeping.

Started out amazing, but hasn't ended there. Still torn on my overall feelings...particularly given the cost
My experience is pretty much identical to slpscientist's.This pillow started out amazing and I was completely thrilled. It was comfy and you could adjust the fluff and it held you nicely (and softly) in place while sleeping. Within a couple of months, it got pretty lumpy and was really thin/thick in places. I tried washing it and tried the shake it from one end methods and neither of those seemed to do anything to improve things. It still worked really well, just wasn't as ideal anymore. I could still manually adjust the fluff by pushing it around and that worked ok.However, it's just gotten worse and worse. At this point, it's super flat in some places (like my head, no longer provides any pillow-y-ness there) and uncomfortably thick other places (at my feet and arms). I can still manually adjust the fluff, but it doesn't seem to stay in place for any amount of time, so doesn't do much good. The whole pillow seems stretched out somehow so it kind of flops all over rather than snuggling close to me.My other issue is with the cover. Within days it started pilling pretty bad in certain spots, within a couple months the entire case was covered in pills. This doesn't affect function, but doesn't look or feel very nice. All that said, this pillow started out so wonderful that I feel there still has to be hope. I still think this pillow is better than lots of the others out there and is a great size. We have a queen bed and my husband is rather on the large side and we have no problems fitting completely comfortably. (We did travel with it and were in a full size bed and that didn't fit so well). If it weren't for the rather expensive cost of this pillow, I may have even given it 4 stars despite the issues. It just seems that a pillow so costly should hold up for longer.
